Chapter Twenty-Five

Imagine Yn starts laughing at Doflamingo's walk the same way Luffy laughed at Pica's voice...

It took the group a few minutes to explain to Shoujou and Masira what had happened, which seemed to have calmed them down. It even led the two to thank the pirates for saving the blonde man. Eventually, they walked away from the entrance, and Luffy followed after them. (Y/n) looked at the unconscious man and back at Chopper.

"When do you think he will wake up?" She asked, causing the reindeer to look back at her.
"Probably soon. He didn't take any serious damages after all. Don't worry."
(Y/n) nodded her head as Chopper smiled gently at her, going back to tending the man. Zoro and Usopp have left the house as well to see what Luffy was up to, while Sanji, Nami, and Robin stayed behind the two. (Y/n), not knowing what else to do, went back to look through the bookshelf since she was interrupted earlier.

"What are you looking at?" Robin wondered when she noticed (Y/n) take a few books.
"I was hoping to find some books here to help me with my research. You know which one." The girl said as Robin slowly nodded her head.
"So, you aren't stopping any time soon?" The black-haired woman wondered, walking closer to the girl as the rest were busy listening to Chopper. (Y/n), a little confused by her question, turned to look at Robin for a few seconds before answering.
"Of course I won't. I got really far with my research, and I won't stop now. What makes you think I would have?"

"Well, now you have the World government after you. Just to stay safe, I thought you would have stopped."
"That doesn't matter to me. My dream is to finish the work my grandfather started, and nobody will stop me. No World government, no CP9, nobody." Robin's eyes widened a little bit at (Y/n)'s determination. The same one she saw back when the younger was held as a captive by Sir Crocodile. (Y/n)'s glare soon softened, and she looked away from the books she was holding and looked back at Robin.
"Besides, even if I die, I died while doing the right thing. That's enough for me."

Robin felt her cheeks turn red a little as the younger grinned up at her, but before she could say anything, Chopper's yells interrupted her.
"He is awake!! Get Luffy in here!"
"What?" (Y/n) mumbled, looking back at the bed the man was on.
'Oh, thank God.' She sighed in relief, happy to see that the man was finally awake and well.

"Sorry for attacking you guys. I thought you were here to steal my gold."
"You have gold?!" Nami asked in excitement as Usopp warned her not to do anything rash.
"What Nami wanted to say was that it's alright. We were the ones to enter your house uninvited." (Y/n) quickly chimed in, sending a warning look towards the navigator. The man, who introduced himself as Cricket, nodded his head and lit up a cigarette, much to Chopper's protests.

"So, what do you want from me?"
"We want to go to the island up in the sky! How do we get there?!" Luffy asked in excitement, earning a side-eye from Cricket.
"A sky island? Do you guys believe in that story?!" The man started laughing, which annoyed Nami. (Y/n) quickly dropped the books she previously picked out and held the navigator back from attacking the man.

"Nami, don't! He is still recovering!" Usopp yelled in panic while helping out (Y/n).
"Please don't do anything stupid!"
"You mean it doesn't exist?!" Luffy asked in annoyance once the man stopped laughing. The blonde took a moment to catch his breath, looking back at the group shortly after.
"Well, there was one man who said it did. But he went down in history as a liar, and all his descendants face ridicule until today."

Luffy stopped for a moment before looking at Usopp in disbelief.
"It's you?!"
"Are you stupid?! It's not me!"
(Y/n) fought back a facepalm and instead looked back at Cricket.
"That liar... Do you mean Noland?" She asked, wanting to hear a confirmation for her suspicions. The man looked back at her for a moment before nodding his head and looking out the window.
