"Bellamy! Hey, Bellamy!" The blonde woke up from his thoughts as Sarquiss shook him a few times, which caused the blonde to glare at him.
"What is it? I was busy thinking."
"I can see that." The first mate rolled his eyes before smirking and pointing at Cricker, Masira, and Shoujou, who looked less than pleased to see them.
"We are here."
Bellamy, regaining his usual behavior again, got off of his seat and laughed.
"Let's get this done with. Look for the (h/c) haired girl while you are at it."

(Y/n), oblivious to what was going on on the other side of the island, was busy looking for the South bird with Usopp, who was unusually quiet.
'Weird. He would be panicking by now.' She hummed while looking at the sniper. Usopp was nothing like his usual self. He looked a lot more unnerved and sad.

'Is he getting sick?' (Y/n) wondered as she stopped in her tracks.
"Are you alright, Usopp?"
The sniper stopped walking as well and looked at her in confusion.
"Of course I am. Why would you ask me that?"
"Are you sure? You have been a lot more quiet today than usually. Did something happen?"
(Y/n) watched Usopp freeze up in his spot before he looked around nervously, trying to think of an answer. The girl stayed quiet during his whole predicament, hoping he would say the truth and not lie.
"You can tell me."

The sniper stared at her for a moment, biting his lip before finally speaking up.
"Am I a coward? Be honest with me."
(Y/n) blinked at Usopp, surprised by his question before shrugging her shoulders.
"Yes, and a big one at that."
That hit the sniper like a ton of bricks, and he started crying internally.
'She probably hates that about me! Hates me! Why can't I be more like Zoro or Luffy?! She would view me-'

"But, you still go through your obstacles, regardless how scary they are. The courage is very commendable. And besides, I can understand why you are like that. Rarely anyone likes the unknown."
Usopp stopped his self-pity and slowly looked back at her in surprise. He felt his cheeks slowly turn red as his heart started racing.
"Y-you think so?"
"Sure! Don't beat yourself up over the way you act. Being scared and cautious is normal. And besides, you will always have the rest of us to help you if you need it."

(Y/n) smiled at him, causing the sniper's heart to beat even faster.
"T-thank you-"
"Joh! Joh! Joh!"
The moment got destroyed as the duo heard some weird sounds nearby, causing them to still.
"Let's see what that was. Maybe it's the birds we are looking for." (Y/n) suggested, gripping on her net as she tried to navigate where the sounds came from.

'She thinks I have courage! And she gave me that cute smile of hers! That was meant on for me! Captain Usopp takes another win today!' The sniper thought excitedly as he giggled and followed after her.
"Joh! Joh! Joh! Joh!" The sounds started getting louder and louder, causing the two to start running quicker.
"It's so loud! Whatever is making those sounds must be nearby!" Usopp said, quickly catching up to the girl.

"Maybe it's that bird we are looking for! Cricket did say it makes weird, unusual sounds!"
"You think so?! It would be a blessing if we find it quickly!- 6 are there so many spiders here?!" Usopp yelled in surprise as he looked up at the trees. (Y/n) followed his movements and looked up as well, only to find them hanging off of the tree branches, staring down at them.
"That's weird! Were they here before?!"

"No! They appeared out of nowhere. This jungle is so weird."
"Let's just ignore them for now and look for the bird!" (Y/n) said, grabbing Usopp's hand and picking up her pace. The boy, as much as he was excited about holding hands with her, didn't have much time to celebrate it since he could barely keep up with her running.
"How are you so fast?!" He asked as (Y/n) glanced back at him.
"I don't know. I was always like this!" She answered back as Luffy's voice was heard.
