Chapter Two

The next day was a turmoil, with Zoro questioning (Y/n)'s every move, and then it got proceeded by Nami and Sanji scolding/yelling at him to stop. Chopper was a little skeptical of the girl, still afraid that she might poison him. Luffy and Usopp were quite the opposite, (Y/n) noted, as they would constantly ask her to show them another cool trick with the devil fruit, and as much as she was happy to be using it for fun, she had other matters to attend to.
'I hope they figured something out...' (Y/n) bit her lip as she waited for Koza to answer her from the other side. Vivi walked into the room, looking in worry at her friend.

"Still no answer?" Vivi questioned, earning a nod from the (h/c) girl.
"No, and it's so weird. Usually he would always answer... where could he be?" (Y/n) wondered, sitting down on her chair in defeat as Vivi smiled apologetically at her.
"I am sure he is fine, just overloaded with work. Koza is an adult, he can take care of himself." The blue haired girl said, trying to calm her down, which did work a little.
"But how are the rest? Father? Pell? Igaram?" Vivi asked quickly, watching as (Y/n) thought over it for a moment.
"King Cobra...I didn't hear much of him, but the civilians are heavily protesting against his rule, as they view now Crocodile as some sort of hero, he really did do heavy damage control on everyone. Igaram is the same, I haven't heard much of him." (Y/n) said, getting up from her seat as Vivi watched her carefully, smirking.

"What is it?" (Y/n) raised her eyebrow as Vivi laughed a little.
"Nothing, it's just funny how you skipped out on Pell."
"Him? He is the commander of the royal guards, why should I worry about him? He is probably somewhere in the palace or wherever birds go." (Y/n) said quickly, not really in the mood to argue with Vivi over the guard.
"Really? Not worried one bit? Considering how you used to cry if he got a even a bruise-"
"That was when I was 12! I could care less about him now!" (Y/n) argued back, regretting how she ever had that silly crush on him back when she was a kid.

'Well, he was the only other devil fruit user who bothered with me...'
She thought, sighing in defeat as Vivi continued laughing at her embarrassed look.

"Have you three completely lost it?! Using Karoo as bait?!" (Y/n) yelled as she was held back from punching them by Zoro. Luffy, Usopp and Chopper kept quiet as the duck cried out for help.
"Are you imbeciles even listening?! Let go of me!" The (h/c) girl glared back at the swordsman, who just rolled his eyes.
"Calm down, it's not like they will let something eat the duck. They are careful enough." Zoro said in a matter of fact way as (Y/n) stared at him in disbelief for a good minute.
"You can't be serious..."

"Say Zoro, are you not getting a little bit too touchy?" Nami asked, sending the swordsman an annoyed look, causing both him and (Y/n) to look at her weirdly at first.
"What do you mean..."He asked as the duo looked at each other, and then at Zoro's arms, which were wrapped around her waist. Face turning red, (Y/n) glared up at Zoro, who looked equally embarrassed.
"You pervert! How dare you touch a goddess like (Y/n)-chan?!" Sanji yelled from behind the green haired swordsman. Zoro, pissed off at the comment, let go of (Y/n) and turned to look at the cook.
"Will you stop being so dramatic?!"
"As soon as you leave (Y/n)-chan alone, I will leave you alone!"
"They are always like this?" (Y/n) turned her attention to Nami, who walked duo to her and nodded.

"They started arguing when they met and never stopped since then." The orange haired girl sighed, ignoring their yelling.
"I admire your patience, Nami. Personally I would have ripped my hair out by now."
(Y/n) chuckled, finding all this chaos funny and relaxing, something she didn't feel in a while. Nami stopped to stare at her for a moment, finding the smile she had adorable.
'So cute! I wish she smiled more often.'

The orange haired girl smiled softly, admiring the girl for the moment, until Luffy interrupted her.
"Oi! We caught something!"
"And it's heavy!" Usopp added as (Y/n) looked at them in panic.
"What?! Then pull it up! Karoo is still the bait!" She yelled at them, running over to help them, causing Nami to groan a little.
'Why did the idiots have to interrupt?!'
