While (Y/n) was running to the main building, she witnessed in horror as the place where she had left Luffy in earlier got hit by a cannonball. Quickening, her steps, the girl just hoped for the best when it came to the young captain's safety.
"Luffy! Luffy! Is he even still alive?!"
(Y/n) desperately yelled as another cannonball hit the bridge just a few meters behind her.

'Crap! They are attacking the bridge now as well. I thought that at least this spot would be safe.' She thought, glancing at the debris that was left after the hit.
"All units! Prepare to attack the Bridge of Hesitation! Our order is that we destroy Enies Lobby as a whole! The Marine and officers are taken care of and safe with us! Take out the pirates! The count of people surviving here is going to be zero!"
(Y/n) listened in disbelief as one of the Marine men spoke, his voice echoing throughout the island from the speakers.

'Life is really meaningless to them. They have no mercy to anyone. Even the people on Ohara had no chance against them. Oh, Robin, I don't want to know how you must have felt back then.'
"We have identified that Straw Hat Monkey D Luffy is on the island along with his crewmates Pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro and the Poison princess (L/n) D (Y/n)! Their crew is the main perpetrator to this attack!"

'Oh... So the Frankys and the Galley-La workers went unnoticed by the Marine. That's good.'
Sighing in relief, the girl stopped in her tracks as she felt a loud explosion to her left side.
"Huh?"

(Y/n)'s eyes widened when she saw a giant cannonball flying in the direction where she was on the bridge.
"LUFFY!!" She yelled out as the ball made contact with the bridge.

Luffy, who was half worn out from his fight with Rob Lucci, stopped mid-punch and pulled his arm back to look back at the bridge.
"What... was that (Y/n)?"
The boy's eyes widened in horror as he saw the bridge catch on fire while part of it started falling into the water. Lucci, who was confused by his sudden stop, looked up at the bridge as well before smirking.
"What? Have you already had enough of our fight? Or are you left in awe at all the power justice holds against you and your miserable crew?"
Lucci's words were left unanswered as Luffy worriedly stared at the bridge.

'I swear that I heard her voice. Am I hallucinating? I hope I am.'
The silence was interrupted by the same Marine soldier making an announcement through the speaker.
"The bridge is being strick down! Everyone aim at it! I just got the information that (L/n) D (Y/n) was struck down on it as well! One less Straw Hat we were ordered to eradicate!"

Luffy felt the ground disappear from underneath him, and his heart stopped for a moment.
'She... She was struck down?! That doesn't mean she is dead, right?! She can't be dead. (Y/n) wouldn't die like that!'
Luffy's fists clenched, and he slowly turned to look at an equally shocked Lucci.

'They said they wouldn't kill her. Why did they attack her out of all the useless pirates on the ship?! When I get out of here, I will tear them to pieces!'
Lucci looked in the directions of the warships before he noticed some weird smoked appear out of Luffy's body.

"I am done playing this game! I will kill all of you!" Luffy declared as he started attacking Lucci again, his skin turning pinkish in the process.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Straw Hats, Franky, Chimnie, and Kokoro heard the announcement as well, and they weren't taking it all too well either.
"Did... Did they just say they killed Butterfly sis?" Chimnie looked at Kokoro and Franky, whose faces grew pale at the thought.
"That can't be true. Someone with the genetics that she has doesn't die like that." Kokoro muttered as Franky slowly sat down ok the ground.
"She was alive barely a few minutes ago. The kid can't be dead already... There is no way."
