Chapter Nineteen

"Can you give this to Koza and my father?" Vivi looked up from her lap as (Y/n) showed her two envelopes. The girl looked at them in confusion and then nodded her head, taking the letters in her hand.
"I will not have any time to tell them a proper goodbye or say what I wanted to, but I hope the letters will be enough for now." (Y/n) continued explaining, picking up her backpack and some other bags. The whole night anxiety was running through her body, knowing she will wake up on the sea from now on, running from the marine and God knows what else.

'This better be worth it...'
Vivi watched as (Y/n) sighed nervously and smiled sadly at her.
"Did you decide yet? Will you join us or are you staying here?" The other spoke up again.
"I really don't know. On one hand, I don't want you guys to leave, but on the other I don't want to leave Alabasta anymore."
(Y/n) looked at Vivi for a moment, then walked over and patted her back.
"Whatever your decision may be Vivi, I know it will be the right one. You should trust your decision-making skills."
"You think so?" Vivi asked, looking up at the girl, who smiled down at her softly.

"I know so. After all, you are a great princess and future queen." Vivi jumped up and hugged the other tightly.
"I will miss you..."
"I see you already made your decision then?" (Y/n) wondered, hugging the girl back.
"Yeah... but I will be there at noon to say my final goodbye."
"This will be a hard one to take..."
"Did you say your goodbye to Pell?" Vivi suddenly asked, letting go of (Y/n), who nodded her head.
"Yes... but it was more like a 'see you later', you know?"
"Ahh..." there was a long pause as (Y/n) sent a longing look out the window.

(Y/n) sent a final longing look at the palace as she got on her sonic duck, the others still putting their things on their ducks.
"Are you ready? This is it."
Turning around, (Y/n) smiled at Nami and nodded her head.
"Yeah. We should hurry up, these ducks might be fast but morning will come sooner than expected. Are you guys sure we can trust Mr. 2 on this one?" (Y/n) wondered as Nami and Zoro shrugged their shoulders.
"Well Sanji thinks so, we might as well go with what he says." Zoro answered as they took off with their ducks.
"That's not really reassuring, but I have to learn to trust them." (Y/n) muttered as they made their way to the ship.

"I've been waiting for you!! Long time no see!!!"
(Y/n) cringed at how loud the former Baroque member was. She got off of her duck and gave it a final pat on the head.
"I will miss you, (D/n). Take care." The duck nodded and ran of with the rest of the group, while the pirates were saying their goodbyes.
"Take care!!"
"Give my regards to the king and everyone else!!"
"Little miss poison is here too!"

"Oh brother..." (Y/n) muttered as the man ran up to her in an attempt to hug her, but got knocked down by Sanji.
"Watch what you are doing. That's my- our crewmate you are messing with." Zoro warned, surprising Mr.2.
"What?! You are a pirate now?! Oh how dramatic!"
"Yeah... why are you helping us anyways? Weren't you helping Crocodile the whole time?" (Y/n) wondered as the man pouted, swinging an arm around her shoulders.
"Oh (Y/n), I am a changed man. Besides, we are friends now so I have the obligation to help you all."
Usopp, fed up with the physical contact, pulled (Y/n) out of the man's hold and towards the ship.

"Come on, we need to load everything on it." The sniper said angrily as the girl took a box.
"Sure."
"Hey! Don't ignore me!" Mr.2 said as he followed after the two.
"Friend? You tricked us!" Luffy argued as the man got on the ship.
"I didn't even know who you guys were back then!"
"And what about all the shit you put me through?" (Y/n) sweat dropped as the man sat on the railing.
"The Baroque Works is my past! We are not enemies anymore!"
"You completely dodged the question." The girl said, hitting the man in the head.

"Now listen! If I hadn't been on this ship... Deux you know what would've happened?!" Mr.2 asked, rubbing the sore spot as (Y/n) sent him a side glare.
"The navy might have captured it." Nami answered from the shore as she picked up a bag.
"Not might! They would have!! Deux you realize what's happening on this island right now?!"
"Navy will surround it soon?" (Y/n) asked as she returned from the kitchen.
"It is already surrounded!! Not even a swan could get off of this island!!" The swan man said, pointing dramatically at (Y/n).
