(Y/n) silently sat on the snake's nose as the animal rested while Wyper kept looking her up and down, waiting to see if she would attack him or not. The girl coughed a few times, finding the whole silence awkward, but she was too afraid to speak up.
'Why does he have a bazooka of all things?!' She cried internally.
"So-"
"I ask the questions here. You are on Shandian land." Wyper interrupted her.

"Alright." (Y/n) nodded her head as the snake side-eyed the warrior before grumbling in pain.
"Are you alright, you adorable baby?" The girl asked as soon as she noticed the animal's distressed state. Nola just grumbled as Wyper finally spoke up again.
"Its name is Nola. Have some respect when you talk to the snake." The warrior glared at her.
"R-right..." She nodded, caressing the animal's nose.
"You never told me what you are doing here? Aisa said you stayed behind at Enel's shrine. Did you escape?"

"No, I wish I did, to be honest. But Enel left me here to teach me a lesson or something like that."
"Teach you a lesson?" Wyper raised an eyebrow as he repeated her words.
"Yeah. He is mad that I don't listen to him." She shrugged, looking back at Nola as the snake closed its eyes.
"Did you rebel against him or something?"
"Kind of. He scares and disgusts me at the same time, so I am not that keen on listening to him." (Y/n) chuckled nervously as Wyper nodded his head, letting his guard down a little as he heard her answer.

"And you are not here to spy on us and inform Enel where the Shandian warriors are, right?"
"What? No! I was hoping to find my friends so that we can get away from here." She quickly said, not wanting to make an enemy out of him of all people.
"Alright. Now, let me ask you about you predicting Enel's attacks earlier. Aisa told me that when she came back to the village."
"Oh, that. Yeah, he tried to attack us while we were escaping his shrine."
"How did you do that? I never heard of that ability before."

Wyper asked as he jumped up on the snake's nose to stare down at (Y/n), much to the animal's annoyance.
"I really don't know. It just happened."
"Stuff like that doesn't just happen. Stop lying." Wyper narrowed his eyes more as the girl shivered.
"I swear I am not lying! I don't know how it happened or why. I have no reason to lie to you."
(Y/n) tried to keep calm as Wyper continued to look at her suspiciously.
"For now, I will believe you because you saved Aisa, and the girl trusts you." Wyper shrugged but kept his glare while (Y/n) let out a sigh of relief.

"But, you are still not off the hook. You Blue Seas people are just as bad as the angels who took our land. Why are you here? Are you looking for the gold that's hidden on the island?"
"No, I was looking for some herbs that might help me in something. And what did you mean when you said that they took your land? Who took it away?" (Y/n) asked, a little taken aback by Wyper's words. The Shandian sighed and sat down on the snake's nose as well, but kept his distance from the girl. Nola kept silent during the whole ordeal, observing Wyper carefully as he spoke up.

"This land here, this whole island, the long lost city of Shandora used to be the home of my people. But, 400 years ago, the Sky people stole it from us. They made us leave our homes and relocate to the clouds. Gan Fall, who was God at the time, did nothing to help, and now that Enel is God, he doesn't allow us near the island. I promised that I would defeat Enel, no matter what, and return the island, return Shandora to my people. Do you understand now why-" Wyper stopped talking as he noticed (Y/n) wiping her tears away.

"Why are you crying?!"
"I am sorry! But that's such a sad fate that fell upon your people! I can't help but cry!" (Y/n) apologized as Nola started growling again, hearing the girl's distress.
"I don't need your pity! God, you Blue Seas people are so annoying!"
The warrior felt a little guilty for saying that, but he couldn't help it. He hated being pitied, especially by someone whom he didn't know. The warrior got up from his spot on the snake and wanted to jump off, but (Y/n) quickly grabbed his wrist to stop him.
