The Straw Hats had left the station a day ago, and by Nami's calculations, they should arrive at Water 7 by noon. (Y/n) excitedly stood on the front deck of the ship, eagerly awaiting to see some glimpses of the famous city she heard so much of in the past. Back when they were younger, Vivi, Koza, and her promised that they would visit the city and see the train for which Water 7 was known for. But now that she had left her old life and everyone she knew behind, she couldn't fulfill that promise.

Sighing, she closed her eyes and just enjoyed the sounds of the waves and birds for a bit, knowing pretty good that soon enough she would be surrounded by the sounds of people's laughter, talking, and the general loud noises all cities had.
"(Y/n)! Come join us on the main deck! We are deciding on how we will split up once we arrive at Water 7!" Nami excitedly yelled as she wrapped her arms around (Y/n)'s waist. Opening her eyes, the girl looked over at the navigator, whose face was very close to hers.

"What? We will split up?" She asked, trying to distract herself from the fact how close Nami was to her now. Sure, she was used to the other's hugs on some occasions, but this was very unusual of Nami to do out of the blue.
"Mhm! Luffy, Usopp, and I planned on going to evaluate the gold we have here and exchange it for money. You should come with us."
(Y/n) blinked a few times as Nami grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the main deck where Usopp and Sanji were arguing about who should be the carpenter whom they would recruit for the crew. Sanji was insisting that they find a good-looking woman, while Usopp argued against it.

"Do you want to come with us?"
The amused (Y/n) looked away from the argument the two were having in order to focus her attention on Nami.
"What? Sorry, I wasn't listening." She said sheepishly, which made Nami pinch one of her cheeks a little.
"Ow!"
"You can really get distracted at times." The navigator sighed hopelessly as she let go of (Y/n)'s cheek, watching gleefully as she rubbed her cheek in order to soothe the pain.

'She is so adorable!' Nami resisted a blush forming on her face as the other girl focused her attention on her.
"There was no need to pinch me like that."
"Says you. But, I was asking you if you want to come with Luffy, Usopp, and I. Once we have the money in our hands, you can go buy some books and the equipment you need."
(Y/n) listened intently and thought over her suggestion.

On one hand, she wouldn't mind someone accompanying her in such a big city. Wth the high probability that the World Government agents are on the island having companions of at least a huge crowd around herself, (Y/n) could evade being caught. And spending time with the three sounded nice, in her opinion. But, she was also someone who liked exploring places on her own-
(Y/n) shuddered a little as she remembered what had happened on Skypiea when she decided to go alone there. She won't repeat the same mistake now.

"You don't have to say yes. I can understand if you want to go alone." Nami added in, noticing the shudder from the girl, but was quickly cut off by her.
"I would love to come with you three! Sounds way better than being alone on an island like Water 7."
Nami smiled in victory as the girl agreed to her plan. This was basically like a date in her eyes! Now, she only needed to get rid of Usopp and Luffy so that her and (Y/n) could have some nice alone time together!
