Fot a moment, (Y/n)'s heart and world felt like they had stopped. Everything was going according to what she had planned. It felt like she got away with the Straw Hats staying out of this, but now she ran into an obstacle for the plan to fully work.

'Why are they here even?! They shouldn't be here! Especially with Iceburg's state they will get framed for this.'
Looking over at Robin, she could see the frustration and surprise in her eyes, despite the neutral look that was present on her face. Kalifa, Kaku, and Blueno were blocking most of her view, but she could still make out the pirates' annoyed and shocked looks at the sight of the room.
"(Y/n), we should go."
Turning her attention to Robin, the woman stared at her with a serious look on her face, and she was about to answer when Lucci interrupted her.

"I already said that (Y/n) is coming with us to retrieve Franky. You did your part. You are free to go."
The two stared at each other and (Y/n) moved away a little, scared by their glares.

'They look so scary like this. I am not used to Robin acting this way at all. They remind me of two feral cats.'
Getting lost in her thoughts, (Y/n) imagined a black cat with blue eyes hissing at the annoyed cat with the top hat and pigeon.
'Ok, that's precious, not scary.' Her face heated up at the adorable image.

Lost in her thoughts, (Y/n) didn't realize that Luffy had finally seen her, which made the boy sigh in relief.
'She is still here!'
"(Y/n)! We came here to get you and Robin back! Where were you?!"
Shaking her head a little, she turned to look at Luffy, glaring at him and the others. Great, now she was put on the spot thanks to his outburst. The agents will definitely want to hear her say what they want.
"Why are you even here? What I do is none of your business anymore, therefore, my whereabouts are not your business either."

Luffy's glare softened into a surprised look at her harsh words, he had to double check if that was really (Y/n). Nami was the first one to recover from her shock and she stepped forward a little bit while speaking.
"What are you saying? You are our friend and crewmate! Of course we need to know! Especially on an unfamiliar island!"
"Yeah, you made us all worried. Why are you with these people even?" Zoro asked in annoyance while Chopper and Luffy just stared at her. Before she could answer back, Paulie interrupted her after it finally dawned on him what was going on.
"Blueno, Kalifa, Kaku, Lucci... Why are you guys dressed like that?! Enough with all these jokes, Iceburg-san is in danger!"

The said agents just stared at Paulie, not saying anything for a while, which caused the tension in the room to grow more.
"Aren't those the shipwrights?! (Y/n), why is that pigeon guy so close to you?!" Luffy's question caused her to look back at Lucci, only now realizing that he stood pretty close to her.

"Luffy, that's not important now! He is obviously one of the assassins who work on the inside." Nami did say that it didn't matter, but his observation did cause her to look at their close proximity twice.
"I know that square-nose, too. Why are you with these people even? You have nothing to gain here." Zoro looked back at (Y/n), who had an annoyed look on her face.
"As I said, this is none of your business!"

Lucci rubbed his temples, tired of all the yelling, and looked back at Paulie to finally explain everything.
"Paulie, we are actually government intelligence operatives. You will forgive me if I apologize, right? We are companions. We built ships day in and day out. If it's too sudden for you to believe me, would you like me to step on Iceburg's face?"
(Y/n) stared at the man's apology, if it can be called that, in disbelief. He was saying it so casually and nonchalantly as if it was an everyday occurrence.
