Chapter Forty-Three

Yn after Luffy nearly unleashed an illness from her lab because he couldn't find his hat: This is fine. Everything is fine :)

"Aisa, is Nami still up there? You two weren't able to get her back?" (Y/n) asked once the girl had calmed down while Robin went to inspect how the three unconscious men were doing.
"No! Luffy tried his best to defeat Enel as well. He was able to withstand the lightning attacks the whole time, and that made Enel even more mad."
"Hold up, Luffy was able to do what?!" (Y/n) asked, not believing what Aisa had just told her. While Luffy was able to get himself out of the most dangerous situations, she never expected him to survive being hit by lightning.

"Yes. Apparently, he is made out of something like rubber, so that's why." The little girl nodded her head, and as soon as she heard that, (Y/n) wanted to hit herself.
'I am so stupid!'
"Right, rubber is pretty common where we are from, and it can withstand lightning." (Y/n) told Aisa, internally scolding herself that she forgot what Luffy's devil fruit did to his body.

"(Y/N)!! OH MY GOD! YOU ARE ALIVE!"
"PINCH ME! I THINK I AM DREAMING!"
The said girl, along with Aisa, looked up at the sky to find Nami, Usopp, and an unconscious Sanji driving the waver from earlier.
"Nami, Usopp! What happened to Sanji?!"
As soon as the waver stopped in front of (Y/n) and Aisa, the older one ran to the three, worry written all over her face when she saw Sanji's state.
"He was hit by Enel! But, he will be fine!"

Nami said in dismissal as she ran over to the girl and hugged her tightly, followed by Usopp.
"I am so happy to see you alive! We were worried!"
Usopp cried as he tackled them to the ground.
"Usopp, get off of me! (Y/n) and I had a moment!"
Nami scolded the sniper, who in return poked his tongue out at her.
"No, you didn't! Stop lying! And (Y/n) doesn't mind me hugging her as well!"

"Get off of her! She is still injured!" Robin called out but was left ignored.
The said girl blinked at them for a moment before bursting out into a laughter.
"I missed you guys!"
The two blushed at her words before sitting up, allowing her some room for herself.
"You did?! We missed you as well, but mostly I did." Nami said in a soft tone, which made Usopp mad.
"You didn't miss her any more than the rest of us did!"

"Want to challenge that, Long nose?"
"Stop, stop. This isn't the right time to argue." (Y/n) quickly intervened while fixing up the hat on her head.
"We need to focus on taking Enel down. Nami, Luffy sent up the beanstalk again to get you back."
The navigator looked at her in disbelief for a moment before looking up at the beanstalk.
"When did he go up there? Does he still have a golden ball around his wrist?" Nami asked as all three got up, Usopp stayed silent for (Y/n) to speak.

"He left maybe 20 minutes ago, I am not sure. And yeah, he has that thing still on his wrist. Did Enel put that on him?"
"Yeah. This isn't good. I was hoping that he was here so that we could all leave to the ship."
Nami mumbled as she looked at the waver with a heavy heart.
"I will go up there and get Luffy. You guys try waking the rest up so that we can leave. Enel already started the destruction process. We can't do anything anymore." She said as both Usopp and her put Sanji on the ground.

"I know. We were too late. And now he wants to steal the Golden Bell as well."
"Golden bell, you say?!"
Nami turned to look at (Y/n) with belly sign eyes.
"That's not important now, Nami!" Usopp and the other girl exclaimed.

"But yeah, Robin said that the Bell of Shandora is up there due to the knock up stream that brought the island here in the first place. Why he wants that bell is confusing to me." (Y/n) explained as Nami nodded her head, getting on the waver.
"Alright. I will go get Luffy then. Be careful, I don't want you injured."
Nami warned as she looked at (Y/n).
"Don't worry, I will watch out for myself." Usopp said, not paying attention to where Nami was looking, which annoyed the navigator.
"I meant (Y/n)!"
