Kaku was what one could call a textbook agent of the Cipher Poll. He was strong, calm, collected, and never showed his emotions. Sure, there were times when he was blunt and honest with his feelings or opinions, but it was never something he said from his chest, from his heart, it was more something he deemed necessary to say. He wouldn't think much about it later on, or at all for that matter. Kaku also never really took interest in anyone since he saw it as a waste of time with him being an agent and assassin. Sure, he did see a lot of pretty women who he would remember from time to time, but never anything deeper than that.

And, to Kaku, that was norma. Thatt was how things should be. He worked for the government and there was no place for love in his life. That is until he received the task to track (Y/n) down from Spandam. At first glance, the girl was nothing extraordinar. She was beautiful based on the pictures that Spandam had sent him and the others. But, there was nothing really that screamed that she was a dangerous person. Kaku had described her as plain in the beginning and didn't think he would find anything of interest about her. But, he was so wrong about his initial opinion, now looking back at it.

The more he found out about (Y/n), the more he felt drawn to her. All the reports that he could gather about her were like precious treasures to him, and so were the pictures that he was able to get from agents who were previously looking for her, as well as some of those he took prior to them leaving Water 7 with her.
Kaku chuckled as he sat in his armchair, waiting for one of the Straw Hats to arrive in his room.
'Ahhh... I really hope (Y/n) finds my room. I wonder if I look presentable enough for her.'

Thinking that, Kaku looked at his clothes and then took off his hat to inspect it before approvingly nodding his head.
'I look more than ready.'
Sighing, Kaku looked up at one of the pictures of (Y/n) that were hanging on the wall, which caused his cheeks to turn a bright red.
"If only you knew how much my heart longs for you. Your kindness, intelligence, and beauty really made me forget my principle of never falling in love. If only I could tell you all of that,my (Y/n)-"

Before Kaku could finish his sentence, the entrance door got slammed open. Looking at the door, his exited expression turned into an annoyed one when he saw that it was Zoro who had found him.
"Annoying pest." Kaku tsked as Zoro walked into the room with an angry look on his face.
"Your (Y/n)? I should kick your ass for just thinking that she could be yours."

Zoro's anger just kept on rising when he looked around the room and took note of all the pictures that were taken of the girl.
'What a creep... Those pictures should be mine instead.'
Zoro gritted his teeth as Kaku looked up at him with a smirk.

"Well, she will be mine soon enough, seaweed head."
The tone in Kaku's voice, along with his expression, annoyed Zoro even more, so he quickly spoke up.
"No, she won't. (Y/n) has functioning eyes and brain, square-nose."

(Y/n) nervously eyes Kumadori for a moment before looking at the staff he was holding. At first glance, the thing didn't look line a threat to her or anyone, really. It was a very blunt item that looked like it could cause bruising at most. But, (Y/n) had by now learned better than to trust just the first appearance.

'Let's see, Lucci mentioned that all of them possess rokushiki. That alone is scary enough since it knocked out Luffy with just one finger back in Iceburg-san's room. I wonder, can that rokushiki be channeled into something else that isn't a body part?' (Y/n) raised an eyebrow as Kumadori slammed the blunt end of the staff on the ground, something that did make her back away a little.
"So, Kumadori, can I ask you something?" She asked in a calm tone, trying to buy some time and think of a fast and easy way to take him down.
