𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐬. (BalletSong)

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙊𝙑:

Ashlyn was excited.

That was a rare occurrence, why was she excited? Easy answer, Ben was coming over.

Ben Clark.

Ashlyn's boyfriend.

Her favorite person.

Ben was coming over because the two of them planned an at-home date for that night. But that was only half of the reason Ashlyn was excited, she was also thrilled because recently she had gotten them a matching set of pajamas. Ben had no knowledge of this, so Ashlyn was going to surprise him with it. The pajama pants were spiderman themed, while the shirts were plain white with a spiderman head right in the center.

Ashlyn recalled Ben mentioning that he liked spiderman once before they started dating, so this was perfect. The clothes were laid out on her bed while she was in the kitchen preparing snacks for the two of them. She made some of Ben's favorites and some of her own, her parents were out of town so she had the house to herself.

Ashlyn and Ben decided on watching classic Disney movies, but Ben was completely unaware of the matching pajamas. Ashlyn thought they would make the date even better. She continued to prepare the snacks until she heard a notification on her phone.

The girl cleaned her hands before picking the small device up, she noticed a text from Ben that read:

Gentle Giant. <3

Gentle Giant. <3: hey sweetheart, I'll be heading over in around ten minutes. is that okay?

Me: of course that's okay, I can't wait to see you <3 be safe :)

Gentle Giant. <3: great, see you soon 🫶🏻

Ashlyn felt a smile form on her face as she stared at the last message. Her heart pounded in her chest, she couldn't wait for this date tonight. The girl went back to preparing the last of the snacks, luckily there weren't too many left. Once she was done, Ashlyn carefully put them away until she and Ben decided to eat them.

She then walked back into the living room, and sat down on the couch. Everything was set up for later, so Ashlyn decided to think of different movies they could watch while she waited for Ben. Maybe they could start with The Aristocats? She remembered Ben saying that one was his favorite. Then maybe they could watch The Fox and the Hound after, that was Ashlyn's favorite.

Whatever they decided to watch, Ashlyn would be happy either way, because Ben would be there. She loved being around him, he was her safe place. Ashlyn knew that she could always go to him when she needed him. And of course, he could always come to her with anything. If he needed her, she would be there in a heartbeat.

Ashlyn got the movie set up on the TV, keeping it on pause. She already had blankets and pillows set up on the couch, it looked extremely comfortable. The girl thought to herself for a moment, wanting to make sure she had everything. Snacks? Check. Movie set up? Check. Pajamas set up? Check. Blankets and pillows? Check. She had their favorite drinks nice and cold in the refrigerator as well.

Ashlyn had everything, the only important thing, or in this case someone, missing was Ben. Wait how long has it been? She picked up her phone and checked the time, it had been around 7 minutes. Ashlyn frowned, she still had to wait a while. The girl slumped back against the couch, she had no problem with waiting, but this was a different situation.
