Ben was excited.

Why was he excited? Because he would be going stargazing in a few hours with his favorite person. He'd always had a secret fascination with stars, but nobody knew that, and he liked it that way.

It stayed that way until Logan found out.

Ben expected to be laughed at once the secret was revealed, but he received the exact opposite. Logan was thrilled, now he could rant to someone who understood what he was talking about. So he decided to invite Ben to go stargazing with him at the park that night.

The sky would be clear of clouds, unfortunately light pollution made it difficult to see the true beauty of stars, but there was still plenty to create an eye catching sight.

Right now, it was around 5:30pm. The sky was nearly dark and a few stars were visible, but the sight was even better around 9pm. When the sky was completely dark and more stars were out. Ben was practically having a staring contest with the clock on his nightstand, hoping that time would somehow magically speed up if he stared long enough.

He couldn't wait to see the stars.

Well, to see his star specifically.

Aiden barged into the room a moment later, startling the taller boy who immediately sat up in his bed. "Hey Benny! What ya doing?" The blonde questioned, leaning on the doorframe. Ben took a moment to recover from his mini heart attack before he replied. 'Just waiting for it to get later, I'm going out with Logan.' he signed.

Aiden tilted his head, curiosity piqued. "Oh? Where are you two going?" he spoke with a hint of humor in his tone, clearly teasing his cousin. Ben rolled his eyes, 'we're going stargazing.' he signed once more.

"Stargazing? I thought you didn't like the stars that much." Ben stiffened at that response, but luckily it went unnoticed by Aiden. 'I.. don't.. but Logan does, and I want him to be happy so I agreed to go with him.' That was a lie, Ben enjoyed the stars. He enjoyed how pretty they were, and the scenes they could create in certain places among the world.

Aiden stared for a moment, narrowing his eyes. He searched for any signs of dishonesty, but shrugged his shoulders when he found none. "You're really hooked, aren't you?" he teased instead, grinning smugly. Ben narrowed his eyes at his cousin, earning a cackle from the blonde.

"I'm kidding! Have funnn!" Aiden left the room after, going off to do whatever he did at this hour. Ben went back to staring at his clock, slowly growing impatient. Why couldn't it be 9pm already? He let out a frustrated sigh and instead turned to look at his ceiling.

Meanwhile, Logan was busy looking for an outfit. He wanted to look his best for this date, could he even call it that? He'd never been in a relationship before, was this a date? He considered it one, so he might as well call it a date. Anywho, he was stuck between two different outfits.

His gaze flickered between both, he didn't know which one to choose. Maybe he could combine them? But the colors didn't match, that idea was thrown out the window. "This is harder than I thought.." he muttered to himself, anxiously tapping his foot against the floor.

Finally, after around ten minutes of debating, he chose the dark colored outfit. Logan carefully put it on, not wanting to wrinkle the fabric. He didn't like wrinkled clothes, it bothered him terribly. He sighed in relief once he successfully put the outfit on. Logan looked at the clock on his nightstand, it was around 6:05pm, he still had three hours.
