(3rd person POV)

Last night had been.. an unexpected event..?

What were you even supposed to do after being kissed so suddenly???

So, as the professional awkard person you are, you let yourself fall backwards off of the balcony and flew into the forest to hide.

It's been four hours now, and you had made a little tent with a bunch of big sticks. Maybe your tendency to flee any situation you don't want to deal with should be investigated.. But it's not like you'd let someone catch you to do that.

So you lay in your nature tent in silence. Ignoring how Kai was still screaming about torterous murder in your head. Maybe he should work on showing his mental problems less...

"Can you shut up?" You groan, folding your ears over.

"I'm not talking." Kai answeres with some sort of childish huff.

"You're thinking in my head." You huff back. 

"Thinking is a natural thing, I can't stop that." Kai appears before you in his shadowy form.

"Why don't you think of like.. some sheep. Count yourself to sleep." You argue in annoyance. Crossing your arms over your chest.

"Because that would make me hungry, which would suck considering I can't eat in this form!" Kai groans in annoyance, crossing his slightly translucent arms.

"Should have thought about that before you 'bonded our souls', you dingus!" You huff back.

Kai groans at your words, though he quickly disappears... wich is.. unpromted at the moment.

That is untill you hear a rustling in the bushes up ahead, and out walks no other than captain Yami.

"There you are, kid, Noelle said you just disappeared into the woods." Yami crosses his toned arms. Smoking as usual. Your nose scrunched up slightly at the stench.

"Well, I had... the sudden urge to go camping!" You smile fakely, at least it should look fine.

"Camping, really? You worming out of missions?" Yami raises a brow and steps closer.

"Do I have a mission?" You question calmly. You've been idle for a week after all.

"Now you do, c'mon." Yami tosses his cigarrete onto your makeshift tent, and it sets ablze. You roll your eyes and stand up to follow.

"Really, where am I going?" You ask with curiosity laced in your tone.

"Where are we going, you mean?" Yami sighs and slings an arm around your shoulder.

"Get on." Yami hands you a broom and just on his own, flying off into the sky.

You sigh at having to fake broom flying once again, but do so anyways, can't let the total secret slip. When you did that with Noelle, you got a kiss....

You follow behind Yami at a leisurely pace, just looking over the landscape. You'd take your blindfold off to see better, but you're not taking any chances with Yami seeing your eyes while you use your powers.

"Is it still far?" You ask purely to be annoying.

"Yes." Yami grumbles, looking back at you with a glare to notify you that the question isn't appreciated.

"And now?" You smirk slightly.

Yami doesn't answer.

You take it as a hint that you're not as funny as you think you are, though crowd, really.
