We're going home today. I don't necessarily want to go because that means we have to go back to reality and that's not something I want.

But I do miss Ava and Ivan. It doesn't matter how much I text them, none of it compares to spending time with them in person.

And today is also my birthday. The whole morning Kira and I spent it in bed. She's gotten me something small but incredibly worth it.

A set of satin pajamas with her and my initials on the pocket corner. And she'd also gotten me a Polaroid picture of us that was encased within a smaller light stand. It was one of my favorites from the trip.

It was us ice skating and her arms were around me. It wasn't much but it was one of the only pictures I had where she smiled to the point where her dimples showed.

"You used my favorite picture." I smiled as I looked at it all over again.

"I did, I know it's your favorite one of us, and having it next to you would be comforting to have." She smiled.

"It is my favorite," I kissed her. "It's the one we have where you're smiling so much that I can see your dimples."

"I don't like my dimples," she rolled her eyes.

"I do, they look so cute on you." I smiled and kissed her cheek. "You're lucky I love them enough for both of us," I said and her cheeks lit up a little. She was blushing.

I teased her. "You're blushing."

"You're the only one who's allowed to see it." She said and wrapped her hand softly around my neck to press a kiss to my lips.

When she pulled away I blushed incredibly hard and got all shy I had to turn away. "I can't believe we're going home today," I sighed.

"I know bambina, but we still have a few days before classes start so we can spend them together." She kissed my cheek.

"Yeah, but it's just back to the sneaking and hiding away. We're going from going out to dinner every night to sneaking moments away." I sighed sadly. "At first the adrenaline and the sneaking around was fun but now I just want to be with you," I said.

I sighed and turned over to bury my head in the crook of her neck. Her arms wrapped around me and her hands ran up and down my back. "I know amore but we're gonna make it work until you graduate. That's the most important thing." She said.

"I know," I sighed and kissed her neck.

"Okay, today's the last day we have here, is there anything you want to do before we leave?" She asked me.

I thought for a moment, there wasn't much I wanted to do except just be with her. Just to lay with her more and maybe go out one last time.

"Maybe go grab breakfast together? Coffee and all, once more before we leave." I said.

"Okay, we can do that," she smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Okay," I smiled and got off her.

Kira and I went out for breakfast and had a really good time. She had her normal straight black coffee with a shot of espresso with an almond croissant.

I had a hazelnut latte with oat milk and a butter croissant. We also got a pain au chocolate and fruit to share.

We made the most of our time out and spent some extra time just walking around before we had to come back and pack the rest of our stuff.

And so far it's going well. We got all our Christmas stuff packed and first and then all the other things. We just have to figure out how to close it all.
