I spent the rest of my weekend with my girlfriend—the girl I love—just at her house. We didn't leave all weekend which was better than expected. We had the whole weekend to ourselves to just be a couple like we were in New York.
It's been everything, to say the least. It was quiet and serene, somehow that all made the copious amounts of sex all worth it.
And when I left on Sunday which was harder than I thought, I didn't want to leave. Knowing I'd have to go back to pretending like she was just my professor, and not the woman I love, was hard.
I wasn't going to see her until next weekend too. I barely left her house when I started crying because I missed her.
When I did get home, Ava was there too, she had a smile on her face and her first question was "How bad was the fight?" But when I told her how our weekend went in its entirety she was happier than me.
She understood why I was upset but I only had five days until I could see her properly again. And so far it's been two days, two smooth days.
Mainly because I have Ivan and Ava distracting me.
On a much brighter note, Ava and Nadia have been doing well together. Nadia left for New York but that doesn't stop her from calling Ava every morning to say morning and then they spend every night on the phone together.
I'm happy it's been going well for them.
"Iva got good news and bad news," Ivan said as we sat in his apartment eating breakfast.
We've come up with a system for the three of us, we spend every other day in Ivan's place just talking and hanging out, whatever it may be since we've all been a little busy.
It's been working out for us so far.
"Bad news first," I said.
"No! Good news first, we need to keep the good days going." Ava said and I nodded.
"Good news," he smiled. "Andre and I are going out tonight, dinner date again—I think it's getting serious but I'm afraid to ask." He said.
"Ask him! And then we have to meet him. Especially if it's getting serious" I said with a smile.
"I don't want to make it weird you know," he said.
"It's not weird, you just as have to ask otherwise you'll never know," Ava said.
"So what are you and Nadia?" Ivan asked her.
She flushed pink and stammered at the question. I held back a snicker and so did Ivan. "That is not the point," she said and we both laughed. "The point is you have to ask Andre what you and him are." She said.
"Maybe I will, but just maybe before Valentine's Day because we've made plans for it already." He blushed a little.
Ava and I teased him for the next few minutes about him blushing. It was nice to see him fawn over someone new that he liked and seemed to like him back.
"What's the bad news?" I asked him.
"Ella wants to walk to campus with us." He said.
Ava and I looked at each other. We weren't exactly on good terms with Ella. After the date, she hounded for details about the date. I've been avoiding her, dodging her calls, and ignoring her texts.
I feel bad to some extent but I don't feel like bringing up the details about the whole thing with her. Not when she could just say I'm a liar.
"It's a walk, she can walk behind us, simple," Ava said.
