✺ Kira's POV ✺
I tried to make this as special as possible. I would've taken us away but after all that's happened, I'm sorry of who could be out too.
So made the best of what I could. I made one of her favourite dishes and for dessert, a do over from the last time we had dessert at my house because the cheesecake just stayed there so it definitely needed a do over.
Birdie deserved to be taken out and I was definitely going to make this up to her somehow. Dinner at home is good and all but she deserves to be spoiled properly.
I took her had in mine and looked at her before we walked. "Happy Valentine's Day bambina," I kissed her lips and she kissed me back.
"I've got something for you before we go," she said and let go of my hand to reach into her bag.
I watched her for a moment and then she turned around with a cheeky smile on her lips. "Take one," she said holding a stack of Polaroids upside down.
I narrowed my eyes at her and took one. I don't know what I expected the photo to be but it definitely wasn't what it was.
She looked so beautiful. I had to swallow as I looked at it longer.
She was in a blue lingerie set and sat on her bed on her knees. Her hands were behind her holding her up and her knees were apart so her body was being pushed forward slightly.
I smiled to myself and bit my lip back a little as I looked at it. This one I'm keeping forever.
"Do you like it?" She asked shyly.
"More than like bambina," I wrapped my hand around her. "I love this one, I'm keeping it."
"Good, it's the first one of the night." She said proudly.
"Oh," I smirked. "The first one?"
She nodded. "There's more for later throughout the night but that's the first." She said. "I have to get you excited somehow."
"Well that doesn't take much work in you know it," I said in a lowered voice.
"I do," she smiled and kissed me. "but this makes it all that more fun," she said.
I held onto the photo and took her hand as we walked through my house. I decided to set dinner up from us in my sun room. It was a good night and it seemed like the perfect spot.
I made bruschetta to start with for us and then ravioli all with red wine—and water for my girlfriend. That was the food part. I also set two candles alight on the table with a trail of rose petals to follow and lead her to the actual room.
"You did all this?" She asked me as she turned to me a little more.
"I did bella, I wanted to our first Valentine's together special in a way," I said and held her a little closer before she kissed me.
"This one is already turning out to be everything."
We sat down and I set out our first thing for the evening, mozzarella and tomato bruschetta along with some wine.
She took a sip of the wine and smiled at me. "It's different," she said. "good like of different. It's sweeter and has more of a smooth taste."
"It's Italian, better than most of the stuff I've had in the states." I said. "Not family wine but still Italian." I said so she doesn't assume this one is ours.
"Italian things seem to be my thing then," she said. "The food, wine and women," she said.
I winked at her and she blushed hard, it was cute to see and she hid her bright cheeks behind her glass. I chuckled at her.
