"Video?" Jennie frowned as she remembered the high-definition video and beautiful photo that Rosé gave her. Her face changed. "Did you really do that?"

"No, the man and I are in the same field. He wanted to open his own media company and plans to report some business-related news. He has many professional friends by his side, and one of them happens to be able to capture photos and intimate videos of Jung Group's new chief manager, Wei."

"He wanted to release the news, but before that, he asked my opinion. I said that I do not know whether this video should be released or not. I asked for his permission to send this video to be seen by you but after that, this video was spread mysteriously by his friends." Rosé wiped the tears from her face as she spoke. At the same time, she was stunned.

Rosé turned her head and looked at Jennie with her wide eyes. "Jen, did you mean that this happened because of the video?"

"This is just my guess." Jennie lightly patted her hand, "Don't be afraid. No matter what the reason, I will definitely try to help you find the culprit."

Rosé, on the other hand, was filled with grief and fear. Her eyes were empty as she stared blankly at Jennie. "So, I'm the one who harmed him. I caused his death!"

"No! Didn't you say that the one who spread this video was his friend. You only sent this video for me to see. The person who brought this terrible disaster to you is them! This is not your fault. Rosé, do not blame yourself for this!"

Rosé lowered her head and did not speak.

Jennie sighed and hugged her, patting her shoulder. "Listen to me, be careful when you go out after this. As for Wei, I will check about this. I think this matter has something to do with him."

Jennie remembered the photo she had seen at the time. The side face of Jung Group's new manager had once felt familiar to her. She had always felt that she knew him, but she did not remember where she had ever met him.

After calming down Rosé, Jennie told her to sit in the rest area and not move. She then got up and walked to the isolation room where Lisa had gone earlier. Outside the isolation room stood two men from the Public Security Bureau.

Jennie nodded her head to them. She knew that the medical examiner was inspecting the room and since it was inconvenient for her to go in, she didn't ask to take a look. She just waited outside quietly.

In less than 20 minutes, the door to the isolation room opened. Lisa and the medical examiner walked out. After exchanging a few words, they walked towards Jennie.

"Are you still feeling unwell? Since we are already here, I will take you to see a doctor." Lisa looked at her pale face and hugged her gently.

"No need, I'm fine. Maybe I'm just feeling carsick." Jennie turned down his offer and turned to the forensic doctor who was writing the report. She then asked him, "What happened? Why did the medical examiner only come to examine the body after you arrived?"

Lisa stared at her. He raised his hand and gently pushed the hair on her cheek behind her ear while whispering, "Early suspicion that it was a premeditated murder. I believe you already heard everything from Rosé. Keep it quiet for now. Leave the matter to me. Don't worry, hmm?"

"Rosé said that police couldn't find the footage at the scene. It was said that the transportation department did not want to check it. They said that the camera at the crash site had been damaged for half a month." Jennie whispered.

"I already know." Lisa said calmly, "I did not ask you who sent the video to you that day. Now that it has happened, there is no point in talking further. The business world is more complicated than you think. Even if you only report business reports, you have to be careful. Some of the consequences are not something that a small journalist can afford."

How could Jennie not know?

She nodded, but she was still a little worried. "I'm afraid Rosé is not safe. Lis, can you arrange two people to protect her from the shadow. I'm afraid something bad will happen to her."

"Sure." Lisa glanced at her, then turned around and signaled the two men from the Public Security Bureau to follow him out. He looked back to Jennie and said, "Accompanying her here for the time being. I will pick you up later."

Jennie nodded and looked at Lisa's leaving figure. Her heart was calm beyond words. Thinking of Rosé, she immediately went back to the lounge, only to find out that the girl was gone.

Jennie hurried out to look for her, only to see that the victim's body had been pushed out of the isolation room by the doctor, completely covered by a white cloth. Rosé was standing in the corridor, staring intently at the body without blinking.

She looked like she had lost her soul.

Jennie quickly walked towards Rosé with a heavy heart. She holds her hand gently. "Rosé ... I know grief is inevitable, but you should not let it haunt you. Do you hear me?"

"Jen, I feel like he is still alive. He is still alive and is by my side." Rosé laughed, her face filled with tears. "He was standing in front of me an hour ago. We haven't even officially started dating."

"We are just one step away to get together. He is just one step away from becoming my boyfriend. But why did all this happen?"

Jennie hugged her tightly. "Idiot... Life is too unpredictable, but as long as you've cherished it, his memory is always alive in your mind. Don't think back to the past, the things that used to make you sadder. The Rosé I know is a woman who is so brave and strong. You will definitely not collapse because of this, right?"

"But he just lies there as if he's asleep. He's clearly still there. Look, he's only sleeping. Perhaps, he might wake up tomorrow morning."

Jennie suddenly realized that whatever she said did not enter Rosé's brain. She could only hug her tightly, not saying a word.

At 10:30 p.m, they were still in the hospital lounge. Rosé fell asleep on Jennie's shoulder. When Lisa arrived, he immediately raised his hand to his lips, signaling to Jennie not to ask about it.

Jennie lowered her head to look at the sleeping Rosé. She sighed, smiled at Lisa. "She cried for too long. Maybe she was too tired, so she fell asleep."

Lisa walked over and took Jennie's bag. Jennie slowly moved Rosé's head off her shoulder and let her lean against the wall.

As she stood up, she looked at Rosé with a worried expression. "Seeing her like this, I don't feel at ease. How about we take her home first?"

"Jen, I don't want to go home." It was unknown when Rosé woke up, but she was still leaning against the wall with her eyes closed, not moving at all. She said softly, "I'm fine. I want to stay here with him."

"But Rosé..."

"Jen, you guys go back first. Don't worry about me. I just want to stay with him." her voice was very soft, but she seemed to have accepted this reality. In the midst of her grief, her rationale had increased slightly.

Jennie looked at her helplessly. She then looked at Lisa, asking his help, only to see him look at Rosé with an indifferent gaze. "At this moment, you can't force her. Since she wants to stay, I'll tell the people at the hospital to take care of her."

This was the only way.

Jennie looked at Rosé anxiously, but seeing her immobile expression, she knew that she needed extra time to experience such grief.

Jennie didn't have the right to take away Rosé's self-healing method, so she didn't force her and left with Lisa.

Jennie looked back at Rosé three times with each step she took.

On the way back to Greenville Residence, she sat quietly in the car. They both said nothing.

Jennie felt depressed. Once they arrived at Greenville Residence, she decided to walk around the area, so Lisa went ahead and brought a rather thick jacket for her.

He attached it to her shoulder before holding her hand and strolling in the elegant and beautiful area with her.

They both stopped their tracks at the same time. Jennie raised her hand to rub her nose, and in the blink of an eye, she met Lisa's gaze. Her face reddened.

Lisa smiled calmly at her and tightened his grip on her hand. He then asked in a low voice, "What's wrong? Could it be that you are shy?"
