Chapter 243 - So Different

Jennie was stunned for a moment. She looked at Chitthip, whose eyes seemed frozen. Jennie immediately walked to V's side. V's gaze was very shallow.

Due to too many things happening in the past two days, she did not have the time to go to Bliss B&B Hotel to find him. When Jennie saw V, her heart ached for no reason.

"V, what are you doing here?"

However, when V saw Chitthip slowly walking towards them, his gaze stopped for a moment.

From his gaze, Jennie could tell that V seemed to know Chitthip.

"This is?" Chitthip also looked at this young man who looked somewhat similar to her own son in shock.

"He's my younger brother!" Jennie hurriedly explained.

"Your brother?" Chitthip was a little surprised. She already heard that Jihoon had brought two children to the Kim Family back then, but she had never seen them before. "Not bad, this young lad is very spirited."

Jennie laughed, "Yeah, I also think that V and Lisa are similar. But there are so many people in the world today who are like this, so it is not surprising that the two of them look quite similar even though they have no blood relationship."

Chitthip glanced at Jennie's natural expression, then looked at V, who was staring at her, "But you are siblings, why do you two look so different?" She shook her head and smiled. "Not at all."

"Mrs. Manoban's eyes are really good." V suddenly sneered.

Chitthip nodded. With a smile in her eyes, she replied, "Ah, so it is like that. Since you are Jennie's brother, why are you standing here, waiting for her? Why don't you come inside?"

"There's no need. I have something to say to my sister. I wonder if Mrs. Manoban could leave the two of us alone?"

"Of course. You guys chat, I'll come in first." Chitthip smiled, then looked back at Jennie. "Be careful. Do not stand in this cold wind for too long. Pregnant women should not be exposed to cold winds at all."

With that,Chitthip looked at V's frozen expression, observed him for a while, then turned around and walked into the house.

"You pregnant?" As soon as Chitthip left, V frowned and stared coldly at Jennie.

Jennie sighed, "V, I ..." After some thought, she didn't finish her sentence but raised her head to look at him. "How do you know Mrs. Manoban? I never told you about her."

V stared coldly at her face. "I heard that Lisa was shot a few days ago and was worried about you. I initially wanted to come and ask about your condition, but it seems ... I came to the wrong place."

With that, he turned around and left expressionlessly.

"V!" Jennie quickly pulled him back. "Don't leave me, okay? I'm your sister, always and forever. No matter what happens, it will not affect my feelings for you at all! You are the only family I love in this world. Can you not be so cold and hurt my heart?"

"I did not hurt your heart, and I did not urge you further. What do you want me to do? Watching you happily get married to someone else and having his baby? Jennie, don't you think that you're too cruel?" V shook off her hand.

"I just want you to remember that I am your sister! Since we were young, I have always protected you. I will always love you."

Jennie looked at V firmly and held his arm tightly. "You can't just throw me away! It doesn't matter if I am the one who forced you or not. V, ask yourself, which part of me is incompetent? All these years, you never let me down. Your accomplishments were all much better than mine. I was already very pleased for having you as my brother, so can we not hurt each other? We are siblings! Are you really going to hurt me like this?"

Jennie walked in front of him. She pressed both of her hands on his arms and looked at V in the eyes. "V, unless you tell me to stay out your life, I will not let you go!"

V stopped and his eyes were cold. Jennie stared straight at him, tightly holding his arm. "Speak, you're going to abandon me now, despite us being dependent on each other for twenty years?"

"Jennie Kim." V gritted his teeth, but he didn't shake her off. He only glared at her.

Jennie refused to budge at all. "No one understands you better than me! You are my little brother who I have personally witnessed growing up. I know better than anyone how kind you are, how outstanding you are, and how much you love your sister! V, if you're willing to hurt my heart, then let's just leave. I don't need you to care about what happens to me in the future!"

Jennie immediately released her grip on V's,turned around, and walked past him.

One step.

Two steps.

Three steps.

Four steps.

Seven Steps.

Jennie waited for V to turn back and called out her name as she walked away.

But when she took the eleventh step, he gave no reaction.

Jennie frowned and clenched her fists tightly. She took a deep breath and turned around to glare at him. "V!"

V slowly turned around with a hint of mockery in his eyes. "Do you really think that you understand me so well?"

Jennie was stunned.

"On what day was the ceremony?" After a long while, V suddenly asked in a low voice.

Jennie paused and instinctively replied, "This week, on Sunday."

V nodded. "Alright, I won't abandon you because I couldn't."

Seeing a faint sense of anticipation in Jennie's eyes, V loosened his brows slightly and said hoarsely, "As long as you don't regret it ...Your wedding, I will be there just in time."

Jennie immediately walked back towards him. She looked deeply at his eyes.

She knew V wouldn't be someone who would cause trouble at a wedding, but what did he mean by that?

However, before she could ask, she saw V looking behind her. Jennie then turned around and saw Chitthip, who had gone inside the house, walking out. She was currently looking at both of them.
