Due to the time she set to interview almost arrived, and coincidentally there's a knock on the door, Jennie decided not to waste and delay Lisa's work, so she left first to find the senior executive.

Even though it was winter now, the sunshine was perfect. All the mist in Jennie's heart mysteriously vanished like smoke into thin air. After meeting Lisa, her mood improved.

The next day at noon, Jennie found some time to go to the Central Hospital to visit Rosé. Her condition was getting better, but she was still depressed. She needed a lot of time to heal. Jennie immediately sent her back to the dormitory.

After Jennie sent Rosé to her room, she suddenly stopped in her tracks when she was about to get into her car.

Jennie raised her head and didn't look back. But she did feel a pair of eyes watching her from behind the two telephone poles.

She couldn't be followed. Even if someone was following her, that person definitely wouldn't be discovered by her now.

Thinking that these were bodyguards hired by Lisa to observe Rosé, Jennie breathed a sigh of relief. She only paused for a moment before continuing her steps as if nothing had happened.

Lisa had previously promised to arrange for people to take care of Rosé's safety so she shouldn't be in any trouble. Moreover, Jennie couldn't act as if she knew that someone was following her.

As she drove past Beidou Avenue in the afternoon, Jennie saw Niki squatting on the side of the road to tie her daughter's shoelaces.

Somehow, Jennie suddenly stopped the car on the other side of the road, and Niki immediately noticed her.

'That night, the auntie, who was hired by me, was preoccupied with something and did not realize that Bella had disappeared. That night, as some nearby roads and parks could not be reached, Lisa went in search of Bella in the pouring rain.'

'Later on, Bella would often use the hotel phone to call Lisa. She's only five years old, but she already knows Lisa's cell number by heart. Do you want to know what she called him? She called Lisa, daddy.'

'Then there was another day, where around one o'clock in the morning, Bella suddenly had a high fever and cried calling Lisa. She was looking for her father. In less than half an hour, Lisa arrived and took Bella to the hospital.'

For some reason, these words suddenly came to Jennie's mind. Her hand tightened around the steering wheel.

She once heard a proverb, which said that everyone in this world had their weak spot, and she had always believed it.

Regardless of whether Lisa and Niki's relationship was a thing of the past, Jennie still felt insecure.

Lisa's tenderness and love for Jennie quietly eroded all her defensive walls.

In the evening, just as she left the office, Jennie caught sight of a familiar figure standing in front of the company's entrance. The man wore a navy knit jacket, blue jeans, a simple haircut, and carried a black sports bag on his back.

Jennie was momentarily stunned and blinked her eyes. That person smiled at her and took off his sunglasses. Then, he beckoned her over ...

"Jennie Kim ~"

Jennie blushed in embarrassment. Some female employees of the company walked out and said in a low voice, "Hey, this handsome man and Lisa look alike."

"Honestly, he really does look a bit like President Manoban."

Their whispers were not loud but were still heard by Jennie. She quickly walked towards V and held his hand as they walked to her car. "Why did you suddenly come to H City? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"

"I took an annual leave, one month." V smiled and was not surprised when he saw Jennie's new car. He went around the car and got into the passenger seat.

V casually tossed his bag to the back seat and smiled at Jennie. "Are you really surprised to see me?"

"Annual leave? Then why didn't you tell me that you wanted to come to H City?" Jennie glared at him as she drove the car into traffic. "Did you come by yourself?" she asked while looking ahead.

"Otherwise, who else should be with me?"

"Didn't you say that you had a girlfriend? You said you wanted her to meet me, but why didn't you bring her along?" Every time Jennie saw V, she always felt very good. After all, they had been together for twenty years, and with V by her side, she felt very warm.

"Oh, we've broken up." He said indifferently.

"Broke up?!" Jennie tilted her head and glared at him.

It's not like she didn't know that V was not someone who would casually play with a woman's feelings. He was only a bit lazy and childish when he was with her, but he was more serious than anyone else when he was outside.

How could he be separated with his girlfriend so quickly? If he didn't like her, he wouldn't have tried to date her. Even more so, they couldn't have been separated so easily. And to think that he had this sort of tone!

Noticing Jennie clearly trying to analyze him, V lifted his hand to brush his hair and muttered, "Alright, I'll tell the truth. My ..." He paused for a moment before saying, "There's no girlfriend at all. I was just teasing you. Who knew you would believe me so easily."

Jennie: "..."

The corner of Jennie's mouth twitched, "V, do you want to die? How dare you make fun of your sister?"

V only pursed his lips. When Jennie was about to grab his ear with her right hand, V immediately held her hand. He didn't let go and looked down at the ring on her ring finger.

"This ...Your marriage was only to blind public's eyes right?" V squeezed her hand, his eyes implying something.

"What are you doing? Don't squeeze my hand."

There were still two weeks before her wedding. Originally, Jennie had considered that she should have informed V, but when she thought about the possibility of V being related to the Manoban Family, she became much more unsure.

Jennie didn't know if it was just a coincidence or if it was really like she had guessed. If it was as she had expected, once the Manoban Family saw him, they didn't need to overthink about it. Something terrible was surely going to happen at that time.

V looked out the window and suddenly said, "Jennie, I'm going to stay at your place."

"Huh?" Jennie slowed the car down and looked at him in surprise.

In the end, V repeated word by word with determination, "Your beloved brother V, finally got annual leave and come to visit you. Could it be that you want me to rent a house here? Or do you want me to stay at the hotel? If I didn't live in your house, where would I live? Hurry up and drive. I'm hungry and right now, I want to eat the food you make."

V changed the angle of the car seat and leaned his head back. He looked genuinely comfortable and cozy.

But Jennie was stupefied.

'V, oh V it can't be that you're here to start a world war in my house, right?'

"V, I think--"

"You have an objection?" V tilted his head and glanced at her....
