Chapter 331 - Helping III

"Jen, Director Fang is looking at you!" Rosé said in a low voice as she was being pulled by Jennie towards the hotel entrance.

The more Jennie thought about it, the more she felt something was wrong. She had just met the female secretary at the Construction Bureau this afternoon, and Krystal then went to the Construction Bureau, only by chance making the call. When she saw Rosé, she naturally recognized her but the strange thing was she never glanced at Jennie at all. Krystal will never miss a chance to attack her whenever they met.

Lisa had only been away for a week, and Jung Family and Director Fang had used this opportunity to gather a crowd to hold a banquet.

Jennie's heart became cold. Impossible! She must hurry!

No matter what they want to do, they will not do it in front of so many people. So she kept moving steadily until she left the hotel and quickly walked to the parking lot.

Rosé first ran to the car and put the recording equipment in it. Jennie suddenly saw a black sedan coming straight towards her from a place not too far away.

Jennie glanced at the car door in alarm. Her heart was in turmoil.

She suddenly took a few steps back with the intention to retreat, but it was already too late. The car drove towards her at an incredible speed.

The black sedan suddenly came to her side, the door slightly open. Jennie could feel a pair of hands grabbing her.

"Jen!" Rosé, who had just put everything in the car, suddenly realized her condition. The black sedan was moving too fast and too close to Jennie.Rosé immediately screamed in shock.

In that split-second, another black car came from the other side. The car drove over at an angle that allowed them to hit the black sedan. The car looked like it was about to hit the black sedan, but then, the car suddenly turned around, cleverly separating the black sedan from Jennie.

Jennie then took the opportunity to take a few steps back. When she turned around to look, the black sedan was already speeding. She glanced at the vehicle license plate number and hesitated.

She could clearly feel that the person in the black sedan wanted to open the car door and grabbed her in. Luckily, this car appeared just in time.

She looked at the car suspiciously but didn't rashly approach it.

That car slowly stopped in front of her as if the driver had no intention of scaring her. However, the car window was gradually lowered, revealing the face of an unknown man yet full of heroic spirit.

"Miss Kim, H City lately is in a state of turmoil and not safe. You must be careful." The man said indifferently and made a simple gesture towards Jennie in the distance.

Jennie quickly understood that he was one of the men hired by Lisa to protect her in the shadow.

She then let out a sigh of relief and nodded gratefully to the man in the car. The man also gave her a polite and respectful smile before driving around the parking lot as if nothing had happened.

"Jen, are you alright?" Rosé ran with a nervous expression.

"I'm fine." Jennie glanced around and then pulled Rosé to her car. She drove out of the 25 Hazel parking lot as quickly as possible and entered the traffic. Only then did she analyze the situation of the night rationally.

Although Jennie knew that the Construction Bureau and Jung Group had some kind of cooperation, she never thought that the Jung Family and their own force would be involved in this sort of work.

Business reporting was simple and yet complicated. And since Jennie had chosen this job from the very beginning, she knew how to observe the situation and prepare in advance.
