Jennie covered her stomach with her hand and vomited loudly. She took the bottle of mineral water that had been handed to her and looked back. In a dark area where street lights were out of reach, V's face looks a little cold under the speckled night sky.

"Did you go for a drink?" His voice was neither warm nor cold.

This was F City where V knew the ins and outs very well, so it was not surprising if he could find her easily. Jennie took a sip of water, rinsed her mouth, and then spat it out. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand as she said in a low voice, "How long have you been looking for me?"

"I just got here today." V looked at her without expression.

"To be able to guess where I am in just a few days, you are indeed my brother." Jennie laughed to herself. Her head ached, and she staggered towards the corridor.

V just silently followed her from behind. He helped her walk to the door. As soon as they entered the house, Jennie went straight to the bathroom to wash her face.

When she came out of the bathroom, she saw V sitting on the couch in the living room without saying a word. Jennie stopped for a moment, then walked slowly towards him.

"I thought you would scold me as soon as you meet me. Looks like I was overthinking it." Jennie casually took a bottle of cola and handed it to him. V just took it but did not drink it. He put the bottle on the tea table.

"Jennie, have you cried for him?" he asked.

"It's none of your business."

"I am very curious. That day at the hotel, when you hit Miss Zhou until now, how can you still able to maintain your composure? If you say that not a single tear fell from your eyes, I will really have a new level of respect for you."

Jennie had cried, but only in the cab. Since she arrived here, she had taken good care of herself, as if nothing had happened. For the past few days, she had been almost numb.

Jennie raised her hand and casually waved it. "Enough with that. It's been over a week, and you still want to open my wound? You must want me to lean on your shoulder and cry, right?"

Jennie pulled a chair over to sit down. She put her legs on top of the chair and hugged it. "V, if you feel sorry for me, you should know what can be said now, and what can not be said. Would you feel happy if I cried?"

V sighed and opened the bottle of cola. After taking a sip, he frowned and walked towards Jennie, pulling her off the chair and hugging her. While she was stunned, he held her tightly in his embrace.

He didn't say anything, only calmly and forcefully hugging her.

Jennie wanted to struggle, she didn't need everyone's sympathy. Even if they weren't related by blood, V was still her little brother. He always was, but ... Could she still be able to treat V's pure comfort and warmth from the point of view of a close relative? Although she didn't need any comfort, she should at least appreciate it, right?

Jennie's head hurt a lot and after all these years, she was already used to feeling tired and numb. When she was sad, as long as V was around, she would never complain no matter how tired she was. Now, perhaps only V could make her let go of everything and quietly accept this comfort.

"What have you been doing in H City for the past week?" Jennie suddenly remembered that V was not really familiar with that city, so why did he stay there for so long?

V didn't say anything, only hugging her tighter. "It's nothing. Everything is the same as before. Returning to the original point is better for everyone."

There was no time to consider the meaning of his words. To Jennie, there were many things that she couldn't go back to. That's right, it was great to be back at the starting point.

"Little Kim, there will be a press conference for the release of a new album at the Shangri-La Hotel in a few days. Don't forget to take a picture and write the headlines." Jennie was given a new task by the chief editor of the entertainment division.

Right now, her job was similar to Rosé's at Fengyu Media. She was a temporary intern and an editor's assistant. Although her new job was not as great as her old job, this was already very satisfying for her. Jennie thanked the editor and resumed her work.

Jennie opened her new email inbox, which had also changed after she got a new job. She looked through several emails and found information on popular movies, TV and music.

Jennie took a look and read the information regarding the new rising star 'Ren' seriously. To be honest, she usually didn't pay much attention to the entertainment media, because she felt that entertainment was too popular and was far from the business side that she liked. But now, there was no shortage of people in the Department of Commerce, and new people had naturally replaced the chief editor position after she left F City.

Jennie naturally had no reason to steal anyone's jobs, so she could only start from the beginning. However, most of the people in this company were old friends of hers, so she was well taken care of.

Jennie went through all the information about entertainment related to movies and everything else. Most of the news contained the same content, and the words also have been glorified. Everything had changed. Other than the fact that she was still working in a media company, other things were very foreign to her.

It was raining heavily. Jennie took the umbrella and walked through the rain alone. When she saw a Land Rover drive past her, her thought suddenly drifted back to Lisa. She knew that Lisa spent most of his time in F City, where he often does his business, but even though he was in this city, the media still couldn't track his whereabouts because Lisa was often low-key.

What was he doing right now?

Perhaps he was standing in front of the window, looking at the iconic building in the middle of H City, still planning the bustling city's future.

That's why when Jennie saw the similar Land Rover, she never really planned to look back nor did she try to find any traces of a familiar person in the crowd of people because she knew Lisa wouldn't be here, looking for her.

Even if they lived in the same country and looked at the same blue sky, for a person with his status, as long as he signed the divorce agreement, they would never have the chance to meet again in this life.

Nayeon, who was crying bitterly in her arms a few days ago, has fallen in love again after a few days. During the day, she called Jennie, asking her to accompany her to the Karaoke center. She wanted Jennie to meet her new boyfriend.

Jennie agreed and then continued to bury her head with her work. She had an interview to do this afternoon. Since she started working, her day has been quite a bit busy. Jennie hasn't had time to think about her wedding gossip that spread on the hidden forum.

Jennie did not think that the news was still hotly debated, even though a few days had passed. Since she had little free time, she casually browsed the forum and read the comments. Their comments were a bit strange, and the way they spoke, it was like they were the bride and the groom's acquaintance. Jennie later discovered this news was still hotly debated because there's someone defending her.

This person kept defending her and feeling sorry for her. Jennie looked back at the time of posting. It was three days ago at two in the morning.

Jennie didn't know whether to cry or laugh. She knew the user very well.

'Stupid Rosé, did you really not see that my seemingly carefree departure was actually not a failure?'
