Jennie came down the stairs without saying anything and thought she just had to pour a glass of water and then go back upstairs. She walked to the low cabinet, picked up the thermos, and poured a glass of hot water. Just as Jennie was about to bring it to Diana, she suddenly froze in her steps and the glass in her hand was almost falling off. The hot water made her hand immediately turn red.

Jennie barely managed to hold the glass as she looked at Diana, who was holding a fruit knife with a gloomy expression on her face.

"Here's some water for you." Seeing Diana looking at her with a dark expression, Jennie immediately frowned. Although she was not afraid of her at all, it was better not to cause trouble.

However, instead of taking the glass from Jennie's hand, Diana slowly raised the fruit knife. The instant Jennie sensed danger, she quickly went to dodge, but the sharp knife suddenly touched her face.

"Don't move." Diana's low voice slowly sounded and her eyes filled with hatred.

Jennie frowned. "Diana, what are you trying to do?"

"Don't move! Don't make a sound! Otherwise, I will directly cut a few lines on your face so that you won't be able to see anyone for the rest of your life!"

"Alright, I won't move." Jennie tried her best to stay calm. This was the Manoban Residence, and although it was late at night and no one else was walking around the living room, and the servants had all gone to bed, Diana would never do anything too crazy inside the residence.

Jennie let out a soft sigh as she watched Diana move the fruit knife away from her face. When she went downstairs, Diana must already felt her coming down and her hand paused for a moment before she called out to Nanny Cheng. This was Diana's plan all along and Jennie was too stupid for not noticing it sooner.

"What do you want? This is the Manoban Residence." Jennie looked calmly at Diana's face and eyes. She could tell from Diana's gaze that she was not in the right mind.

"I know this is the Manoban Residence, and I also know if I harmed you, my entire family cannot tolerate me, just like they couldn't tolerate you back then." Diana chuckled lowly, tears streaming down her face. "Jennie, you're really amazing. I've been in the Manoban Family for twenty-three years, and my father and grandfather have never scolded me. But now look at what had happened. Because of you, I was scolded by my grandfather!"

"I always thought that when I grew up, I would marry Lisa. But you, Jennie, what right did you have to steal my dream?! I've fought for myself to get back my Lisa, but why all is not effective! What's wrong with me?"

Jennie frowned. "You are completely wrong. When Lisa and I got married, we never intended to walk and be together. Diana, in this world, only you can have warmth and someone to love you. Only you can have something that no one else can touch? That's why you try to do anything against Somi because you are afraid she will steal all your belongings and you want the whole family only to love you."

"You want to marry Lisa, so all the women around him are your hindrance. Do you want to use the same method to drive me away from Lisa's life too? In your brain, you're the only one who is right and others have no right to defend themselves. Do you know how despicable your selfishness is? Because of your selfishness, your so-called father slapped me and accused me only by listening to your bloody and tearful complaints without a single word of truth!"

Jennie saw the hatred gather in Diana's eyes. No matter what she said, it wouldn't be accepted by Diana.

Jennie sighed. "Diana, aren't you watching too many idyllic dramas? Do you think this is a fairy tale? To make someone love you is not wrong, but you have always used the despicable method! Sooner or later, you will be trapped in a trap that you set for yourself since you were young!"

"Who do you think you are? What right do you have to stand here and talk to me like that?!" Diana sneered as she tightened her grip on the fruit knife.

Jennie could clearly feel the sharp blade of the fruit knife on her cheek. The ice-cold feeling of the knife made her feel scared, but she was currently trapped between Diana and the cabinet. On her right was a chair blocking her way, and on her left was her knife.

"Do you know? Jennie, if there wasn't you in this world, then I wouldn't have been ignored by Lisa. I wouldn't have done so many things to make Lisa hate me and I wouldn't have even let grandfather see my bad side and scold me. Lisa would have married me, I would have become an honorable member of the Manoban Family, and wouldn't have been left behind by others!"

"But you! You're the one who ruined it all! You're the one who ruined my dream and my life! So, since I've already been destroyed by you, why don't I destroy you as well." As soon as Diana finished speaking, she turned the fruit knife in her hand.

"Diana!" Jennie immediately shouted out a warning, ordering her not to be impulsive. At this moment, her heart was pounding with fear. "Don't be like this!"

"Don't worry, I know Lisa's character. Even if I make your face look completely different from before, he'll only feel more sorry for you!" Diana slowly put down the fruit knife. Jennie let out a sigh of relief and when she wanted to run away, she abruptly felt the sharp knife at her stomach.

Jennie felt a chill run down her spine. She looked at Diana with shock. "Don't be rash!"

"I'm not impulsive! It was this child that made me so desperate! This child's presence made godfather and grandpa have no reason to reject you! Your position in the Manoban Family will be consolidated because of him! Since this child should not have appeared, why not just let him die in your stomach!" Diana sneered and with tremendous force, she tried to stab the fruit knife forward violently.

Diana was crazy! She was absolutely insane!

Jennie was no longer able to maintain her calm. She no longer cares if Diana will do something even more shockingly scary when she struggles because right now, Jennie couldn't let her hurt her child.

"I gave him so much money, but he still can't destroy you! Then let me destroy you myself! to make you disappear with this fucking kid!"

"Let me go! Let go!" The two of them lifted their hands and started tearing at each other. Although Diana wasn't as strong as Jennie, she still tried her best to use her strength to stop her.

"Jennie! Go to hell! Go to hell!"

"Stop!"

In the blink of an eye, Lisa held the fruit knife in Diana's hand. With a slight force, Diana's hand relaxed and the fruit knife fell to the floor. He swung Jennie away and turned to support Jennie. "Are you hurt?"

Jennie shook her head lightly, but she was terrified. She frowned as she looked at Diana, who had fallen onto a chair to the side.

"What's going on? I heard a commotion downstairs! What are the three of you doing?" The Old Man hurriedly walked down with his walking stick. He immediately saw Diana and Lisa, who both had frightened expressions, and Jennie, whose face was slightly pale. Then the Old Man saw the fruit knife on the floor.
