Uncle Huang turned to look at her. "What is it? You want to hear it?"

Jennie grinned. "Women love to hear stories. They love to listen to the story about the past the most. Furthermore, you said that she looks very similar to me, so I was really curious."

Uncle Huang nodded as if he remembered something, then he shook his head again, "That girl was once as open and casual as you. I used to have an orchard in the G City, and she went to help me farm for a few months. She was a diligent child."

After saying that, Uncle Huang smiled, "At that time, I was not even forty years old, in the prime of my life, had been divorced for a long time with my ex-wife and only my son by my side. Back then, I was in the orchard with her for a few months, and I liked her sometimes warm and lively personality, but later on, she got pregnant in a strange way and refused to tell me who the father of the child was."

"Do you know anything else about her?"

Uncle Huang looked at her as if he had known something. "Miss Kim, why are you asking this?"

Before Jennie could respond, it started to rain heavily. Uncle Huang rushed to call a taxi to pick her up. Before the car arrived, she was told to stand under the awning next to the orchard to avoid getting wet.

And in the darkness of the night, a tall figure slowly walked over.

The orchard's helpers began to hurry to pack their belongings to avoid being hit by heavy rain. All of them looked in a somewhat sorry state as they walked in a hurry. The figure also walked not slowly, but his presence gave people a sense of serenity.

The running crowds, the verdant gardens, and lush orchards, all became background in a split-second.

Lisa walked alone with an umbrella in his hand. His handsome face and beautiful picturesque features gradually became clear when he came closer. When Jennie saw that it was Lisa, her face changed. Even though she was cold from the sudden heavy rain, even though the person who walked over had a warmth that she once cherished, she did not look at him. Instead, she turned to look at Uncle Huang, "I will not wait for the car, I will be leaving first."

After saying that, she turned around and prepared to leave through the rain.

As soon as she stepped out, her face and body immediately became drenched. Her wrist was suddenly grabbed and she was pulled into a warm embrace.

"Jennie, it's raining heavily, so don't wander around." Lisa grabbed her and held her to his chest.

Jennie turned around and looked at the man with the umbrella. Under the light of the small lanterns in the orchard that flickered through the rain curtain, his very enchanting and beautiful face could captivate someone's eye.

"I'm not so dainty that I cannot be exposed to rain." She pushed him away and turned to leave.

Jennie could not go on like this. If she continued like this, she would go crazy. She never knew that Lisa's influence in her heart would exceed her imagination, but if she continued like this, then she would forgive him and repeat the same mistake!

"Let me go!" Jennie flung his hand away as Lisa tried to stop her.

"Jennie!" Lisa frowned as he held her back with one hand. His clear and melodious voice sounded very serious and patient as he whispered in her ear, "You can't catch a cold! Think about our child first! Come with me!"

His tone of voice showed concern and heartache, as if he was afraid that she would actually fall ill from all this. Lisa immediately raised the umbrella over her head and held it like this by the side of the awning. At the same time, he took off his jacket and draped them over her body. "The weather is very cold, and you are wearing too little. Wait, I'll get someone to prepare dry clothes for you."
