Chitthip, Somi, Nanny Cheng, and the other servants hurried downstairs as well.

"What's going on?" Chitthip asked in surprise and quickly stepped forward, "Jennie? Are you okay?"

Jennie smiled. "Mom, I'm fine."

Chitthip looked at the fruit knife on the floor and looked at Diana, who was sitting there in tears, but before she could open her mouth, the Old Man knocked his walking stick onto the floor hatefully, "Bastard! Diana, are you stupid?"

Instead of explaining,Diana just sat there, crying. The pungent smell of alcohol that accompanied her tears made people unable to bear to look at her, but at the same time, it also made them hate her to the bone.

Jennie never thought that Diana would want to hurt her child. The last shred of tolerance in her heart finally broke down. If it wasn't for Lisa's timely appearance and comforting words, she would definitely slap Diana right away!

Diana was crying loudly as she slowly raised her head to look at the frowning Lisa with tears in her eyes.

Lisa was looking at her with a cold gaze as he consoled Jennie. He pursed his lips and did not say anything. Just as Diana was about to open her mouth to call his name, Lisa frowned and said indifferently, "If something happened to her, I won't let you go."

Diana immediately bit her lips and looked at him helplessly. After a moment, she slowly turned her head and looked at Old Man, who had an ice-cold expression on his face. "Grandpa ..."

"How can you be so stupid!" The Old Man was outraged. He took in two deep breaths and shook his head painfully. "Diana, you have let grandpa down!"

"Sister-in-law?" Somi walked closer and took the fruit knife from the floor. She glanced at Jennie who looked scared but was not injured, then gripped the fruit knife tightly and looked coldly at Diana who was sitting there helplessly with tears and laughed out loud. "Are you crazy? Ever since you were little, you have always been like this. It doesn't matter if I tolerate you, but now you can not even tolerate the child in my sister-in-law's womb? You better think clearly, the person you want to hurt with this knife is grandpa's great-grandson!"

After saying that, Somi threw the fruit knife on Diana's body. "What a brainless idiot!"

Diana bit her lip as she suddenly took a deep breath, and said in a hoarse voice, "Jennie, what right do you have to steal everything from me!? Why? Why?!"

"What's wrong with you? If it weren't for grandfather pitying you, how could you have acted so arrogantly and carelessly in the Manoban Family all these years! Grandpa only did all this because your grandfather sacrificed himself to save him. Do you really think that you are so great that everyone must bow down to you?! How many times have you said the word 'snatch'? When everything in this world that you want is taken away by someone else, in your mind, that person was evil because she had snatched everything from you? Then look at yourself! Everything in this family is mine and you snatch it from me but do I make a big fuss about it? Heh, what a joke! Did you get water in your head? Do you need me to send you to the hospital to take a look?" Somi glared at her coldly.

Needless to say, after more than twenty years of playing the role of a thief and being accused of being a villain, Somu had never complained with tears in her eyes before. What qualifications did Diana have to complain about it?

"Grandpa..." Diana sniffed with her nose, and suddenly ran to the Old Man, who still had anger written on his face.

Seeing that the Old Man didn't look too good, Diana immediately knelt in front of him while crying, "Grandpa, you promised that you will not let outsiders be your grandson's wife easily! You said that you would make Jennie leave the Manoban Family! You said that you will definitely let Lisa marry me! You promised me! Grandpa, can you not accept her? If you accept her, then there will be no one else by my side! Grandpa, please. I beg you."

Diana cried as she grabbed on the Old Man's pants, crying as if she was in despair, like an orphan who had been abandoned by everyone. Not to mention the Old Man, even Somi couldn't stand her attitude any longer. She forcefully turned her head and sat to the side, ready to watch from the sidelines.

Somi knew that Old Man wouldn't do anything to Diana! She didn't even need to have a shred of hope. All she needed to do was quietly watch.

The Old Man just stood there with his walking stick, looking down at Diana's crying and wronged expression, not saying a word.

"Grandpa ..." Diana continued kneeling on the floor, "I know my mistake, and I also know that you always close your eyes and protect me but I really like Lisa. Grandpa... You know, Lisa is the future I want."

"If my brother really wanted to marry you, he would have done so a long time ago. He won't wait for sister-in-law to appear. Even without her presence, my brother refused to marry you after so many years. Don't you know what that means? How ridiculous it is when you truly consider yourself a highly sought after goods." Somi frowned.

Diana froze and knelt on the spot, tugging at the Old Man's pants. She didn't plead to him anymore, only letting her tears fall.

"If my brother is willing to marry you, why do you need to ask grandfather? Could it be that you want grandfather to be the judge for you and personally kill his unborn great-grandson? Diana, has your selfishness evolved to this extent?"

"That's not Lisa's child! No! She must be sleeping with another man! She might be faking it! It was to make grandpa like her! Even if she was really pregnant with Lisa's child, grandpa only loved that child! Grandfather will never accept her!" Diana muttered to herself.

She then laughed, "That won't happen--"

*Pah!*

A loud slap echoed in the living room.

The Old Man's teeth itched with hatred as he looked at Diana, who was lying on the floor after being slapped by him. "Evil creature! You are such an evil creature!"

Diana never expected the Old Man to hit her. She stared at him blankly and lay there without moving, but her entire body was trembling as tears kept falling down from her eyes.

"Diana, you..." The Old Man pointed at her hatefully. "Did I spoil you too much? Do you really think I'm blind!?"

"Grandpa ..."

The Old Man was about to say something when he suddenly gasped harshly. Jennie was startled and immediately pushed Lisa away. Everyone immediately walked over to the Old Man.

"Grandfather!"

"Old Master!"

Jennie touched his chest and rubbed gently. "Grandpa, don't be angry, this is my fault. Don't be angry, you have to take care of your body."

The Old Man shook his head and sighed, "I'm fine. I'm too old to be too angry!"

As he said that, he coughed once, placing his hand on Lisa's and Jennie's hand, and shook it hard, "My own grandson and granddaughter, no matter how I scold you, all of the blood in your body is still my blood. I know the nature of my grandchildren. My heart aches when something bad happens to you, but Diana, you... Grandpa has doted on you for so many years, partly because I feel that I owe your grandfather, and secondly because I have a merciful heart. But you ...You really disappoint me."

Diana just lay on the ground, crying and unable to speak.

"Dad, calm down." Chitthip also went to stroke the Old Man's chest. Her eyes were full of worry.

"Put Diana in her room and let her think things through!" The Old Man closed his eyes and sighed.
