"All right, let's all have dinner. Jennie, tonight Nanny Cheng will cook ginger soup for you to drink. This soup is very good to prevent your stomach from catching a cold."

Jennie smiled. Everyone followed Chitthip and sat at the long table. Lisa sat next to her and did not say anything about Somi.

Somi also did not talk much.

"Lis, where's dad?" When Jennie saw the Old Man come down, she quickly looked around but did not see Marco.

"He went out." Lisa poured a glass of fresh fruit juice and gave it to her. "You can't drink fresh water right now. You must drink fruit juice from time to time to balance the nutrients in your body."

Seeing that he was acting as if nothing had happened, Jennie took the glass and looked at the silent Somi with suspicion.

"Diana isn't back yet?" As the Old Man sat down, he handed the walking stick to Nanny Cheng. He glanced at his family members on the table and said with dissatisfaction.

"Miss Diana's phone could not be reached. I have tried to call her several times and it was always off." Nanny Cheng said on the side.

The Old Man shook his head, "This child." However, he did not say anything further. He looked at Somi, who was not in a good mental state, and asked, "Has the doctor examined Somi's body?"

Somi paused for a moment but didn't reply. Instead, her gaze shifted to Lisa, who was in the middle of scooping soup for Jennie.

The Old Man followed her gaze, "Lisa, didn't you call Dr. Li just now? Is Somi's fever serious? Has she been given an injection?"

"Her fever is 37 degrees. Doctor Li just told her to take medicine, and she does not need an injection. Her fever is easy to treat." Lisa glanced at Somi, who looked a little nervous.

Somi immediately sighed in relief and lowered her head to eat her food. After eating two mouthfuls, she said with a smile, "Grandpa, don't just care about me. The wound on my brother's shoulder is still not healed."

"His flesh and bones are fine. It would be strange if a man became weak just because of small wounds like this. I was shot many times in my arms and legs, and I am still alive and well! Looking at your brother's mental state, whatever pain he was feeling has long been dispelled by the child in the spoiled girl's stomach. Do you still need me to worry about him?" The Old Man snorted as he looked at the smiling Lisa, "Have you changed your bandage today?"

"I did." Lisa smiled. He glanced at the cold Coke glass next to Somi, which Nanny Cheng had poured for her. Without saying anything, he poured a little hot water into the cup next to him and exchanged it for Somi's glass.

"You have a fever, don't drink carbonated drinks. Drink more hot water." He whispered to Somi.

Somi didn't say anything. On the other side, Nanny Cheng patted her forehead. "Oh my God! Second Young Miss, I'm sorry. I forgot you had a cold. I remember you usually like to drink Coke, that's why I poured it to your glass."

"It's alright, Nanny Cheng. Recently, I like to drink fruit juice. Just give me the same drink sister-in-law have." In the blink of an eye, Somi went to comfort Nanny Cheng.

Jennie did not say anything. She turned to look at Lisa, only to see that he calmly took a piece of Red Braised Meat and put it into her bowl. "From now on, you must eat more vegetables and meat. You can not be picky."

Jennie felt like she was being treated like a child, but when she saw Lisa's attentive and loving eyes, she smiled happily. Her smile full of happiness seemed to make the atmosphere around the table more lively.

Jennie's face immediately turned red. She picked up the chopsticks that she didn't use and gave some of the food to the Old Man, "Grandpa, have some food too."

The Old Man looked at her calmly. "Spoiled girl, does your leg hurt?"

How should Jennie answer this question?

Jennie could clearly see the shrewdness shining in the Old Man's eyes. If she said 'pain', the Old Man would probably make fun of her, but if she said 'no', then the Old Man would extend the punishment.

She was able to tell that Lisa inherited the Old Man's personality. When talking to the Old Man, Jennie had to think her answer carefully.

Seeing that she blinked innocently but didn't answer, the Old Man looked at her for a while and then laughed. "Humph! You are really a spoiled girl."

Lisa glanced at Jennie with a smile on his face. Jennie pursed her lips and lowered her head to drink the soup under his gentle and smiling gaze.

"It's been a few months since your grandpa last smiled like this. It seems like he is really in a good mood today ~" Chitthip said as she gave Somi some food.

The Old Man immediately raised his hand to cover his mouth. Chitthip smiled, "Enough dad. Before, the only one who can cure your bad temper is Lisa. Now there's even Jennie. Look at yourself right now. You can't even hold back your smiles."

"That's right. For so many years, every time grandpa lost his temper, other than my brother who can coax him, who else would dare to come close to him!" Somi said while taking a sip of the hot water in her cup. She glanced sideways at the Old Man, and her eyes brimming with jealousy. "Including Diana, originally your grandchildren are only the three of us. Tch, I was always the one that was ignored the most."

"This girl, sit next to me and eat. Your mood is still sour!" Old Man glanced at her.

Somi ignored the Old Man and turned to Jennie. "Sister-in-law, grandpa is so biased, right?"

"Stop teasing your grandfather! You always made him angry, and now you even want to drag Jennie with you." Chitthip put a piece of meat in Somi's bowl and said, "Even mealtime can't stop you from opening your mouth. You are still so energetic even though you have a fever!"

Somi pursed her lips and looked at Jennie as if they shared a mutual understanding. They then smiled at each other.

While everyone was enjoying themselves, the sound of cars came from outside. Diana, who reeked of alcohol, staggered into the room, and almost at the same time, everyone turned to look at her.

Her clothes were a bit messy as if she had been drinking outside for an entire day. As soon as she entered the room, she saw Lisa, then Jennie. Diana suddenly leaned against the door and stared at them.

"Diana, you went out to drink?" Chitthip stood up in surprise.

The Old Man frowned as well. "You don't listen to my words! You even spent your day outside and came back smelling of alcohol!"

Diana's eyes immediately reddened when she heard the Old Man scolding her. She bit her lips and stood by the door. She stared intently at Lisa, who was pouring Jennie another bowl of soup.
