Jennie closed the forum and went out to prepare for the afternoon interview. She was in a good mood.

In fact, no matter what time, when there's a fool who stays up at two in the morning, writing a post to defend you, your mood will immediately become good. While this may seem like a small thing, it will attract more guesses and cyber cynicism.

All these years, no matter how envious a person was because of her success or failure, no matter how others gossiped, she, Jennie Kim, never responded. Just like the so-called gossip. She would rather be an outsider and read their comments. These people were actually all the same. What they wanted was not the truth, but just a topic that they could amuse themselves with.

So why should she be wasting her time to explain to these fools? She'd rather use that time to do something productive.

Jennie immediately rushed to the bus stop. She needed to arrive at the Shangri-La hotel early because the press conference for the new album was about to start in an hour.

Just as she was sitting on the bus, her phone suddenly rang. Jennie took it out from her bag and looked at the caller ID. She sighed. How did GD get her new number?

She hesitated before answering.

"You took a long time to answer the call? I thought you were dead." GD's mocking voice came directly from the other end of the phone.

Jennie was speechless. Seeing that the bus was about to reach the destination, she got up and walked to the back door, and said, "What do you want? How did you know my current number?"

"When V returned to F City, I immediately guessed that he knew where you were."

'V, you damned brat, since when did you collude with GD!'

She curled her lips and replied without giving him any face, "Oh."

"I'm at the East Street Tea House. Where are you? When are you coming here? I've been waiting for you."

The bus stopped and Jennie glared at the door like she wanted to kill someone. As she got off the bus, she said into the phone, "Who said I wanted to see you? Do you really think I have so much free time? Do you think my company is Fengyu Media?"

"Are you coming or not?"

"No!" Jennie insisted.

"Alright, I'll wait for you at the window of the East Street Tea House. I'm not going to leave until I see you." GD immediately hung up the phone with a "click."

"Hey! GD? Hello! You.."

Jennie was so angry. She looked down at the screen and gnashed her teeth. 'Damn you, V! Who gave you the right to tell GD my number?! Aren't you supposed to protect your sister?'

There was no helping it. Jennie knew GD would do as he said, so she called him back, only to find GD had blocked her number.

Jennie suddenly felt as if a stone had hit her. God, why did she have to go back to F City? She might as well find a seclusive place to stay. The best place was where even that little bastard V couldn't find her!

Jennie looked for V's number and called him, but the brat said he didn't know anything about GD coming to see her.

That was strange. How did GD know her number then?

Suddenly, Jennie remembered the method GD always used. The girls in her company could not handle him at all. Jennie suddenly felt a layer of sadness in her heart. She took a taxi back to the company. Feeling sorry for the money wasted, Jennie stormed to her office.

Jennie saw that her colleagues all looked at her strangely. She immediately smiled and asked in the most friendly tone, "Who gave my phone number to Mr. Kwon today?"

Immediately, a loli girl raised her hands up high, "It's me. I'm the one who gave it to him. Jen, where did you get that handsome guy? Will you reward me since I just gave him your number? You just need to buy me two bags of shrimp."

"Shrimp, huh?" Jennie was still smiling as she pointed at the loli girl. "Your month's prize for this month, it's gone ~ I'll go report it to the editor now!"

The loli girl immediately tilted her head, and one of the employees suddenly covered her mouth while laughing. Jennie glanced at her and asked, "What are you laughing at?"

She said, "Sister Zhu probably lost all her bonuses for this year too because she wrote down your address on your profile."

Jennie: "...."

The afternoon interview was handed over to someone else. Luckily, Jennie was very enthusiastic about her work, so the editors really believed her. He did not think that she deliberately did not want to complete the task, and he also gave her half a day off.

When Jennie arrived at the teahouse on East Street, she looked at the cars parked outside. She didn't see GD's Ferrari, so she guessed that he had flown to F City in such a hurry.

Jennie walked into the teahouse and looked at a table by the window. From a distance, he could see GD, dressed in casual clothes, sitting there leisurely, reading a magazine. From the looks of it, he seemed to be patiently waiting for her.

Jennie pursed her lips and walked over to that table. She put the bag down heavily. When GD raised his head, Jennie glared at him. "Did you force them to close the shop?"

GD glanced at her before looking at her expression. Seeing that she looked alright, he smiled. "Tsk, tsk, your voice is full of energy. You are really a strong woman. No matter what has happened, you still have feelings of indifference, and even I have to bow down to you."

"You are the one who is heartless." Jennie stared at him before looking around the shop. She saw that GD had reserved the teahouse and there was no one else around. Only a few waiters were looking at them curiously. Jennie couldn't help but clear her throat and speak in a low voice.

"Don't think of blaming V because he did not tell you where I was. He just tried to protect me. One more thing, please stop using your appearance and shameless method to get my information from my company's female employees. I never know why shameless people like you still exist in this world."

"Am I? But I think those girls are all familiar with me, so why would I be the one to hook them? What about them? You don't think they will use shameless tactics to seduce me?" GD closed the magazine in his hands, called the waiter, and poured Jennie a glass of lemonade.
