Lisa's mouth twitched. He continued to scoop another spoon and put it on his lips to test the temperature. He then fed her, "What are you thinking? Smiling and laughing like a crazy woman."

"I am happy to have a good husband." Jennie didn't hide her words while tilting her head and smiling. As she drank the soup, she subtly bit her lip, "This is rib soup, hmm ... This is the tastiest thing I've ever tasted in my life!"

Lisa chuckled, "Drink your soup. There's no need for you to sweet-talk, I'm not going to run away. "

Jennie poured the soup into the bowl again, then took the spoon in Lisa's hand and followed his example. She blew the soup and delivered it to his mouth, "You just got off the plane this morning and drove to the Residence for 2 hours. Then you drove back to the hospital without stopping. I can't drink so much, so you at least drink a little."

Seeing her serious face, Lisa could only sigh helplessly and take over. "I'll do it myself."

It was obvious that he had not eaten anything all day. Only after seeing that Jennie had eaten her fill did he feel at ease.

Lisa took the bowl of soup from Jennie's hand. He used the spoon that she had just used to eat the soup without care.

Even holding a spoon and a small bowl, Lisa still looked graceful and dignified. Seeing him like this, it finally made Jennie feel eased. A sense of security was extremely important to women, but only Lisa could give her such a sense of security.

Jennie sat on the bed with one hand resting on her knee while the other supporting her chin. She stared blankly at the man in front of her and smiled a little. "Lis, only a fool would not appreciate a man like you. At least for now, I will do everything I can to protect our marriage. No matter who wants to intervene, no matter how strong they are, I am not afraid of them."

Lisa was startled. He seemed to know what Somi had said to her. He asked halfway, "Did Somi tell you?"

Jennie was just sighing because she really couldn't hide anything from him. Rather, it was Lisa who was more attentive towards her.

Jennie did not answer but continued to hold her chin with one hand, looking at him with a smile. In this marriage, she always seemed to be on the passive side. Because she was unsure and there were many things she didn't know the truth of, so she never took the initiative, but now, she already knew about it, she should not be on the passive side anymore.

Seeing that she was smiling so much, Lisa continued to drink the soup calmly. "Before, you used to laugh at Rosé. I think now you are more suitable for these words."

Jennie's eyelids twitched as she grabbed the bowl in his hand. "This soup is mine, I won't let you drink it anymore!"

It was rare for Lisa to see such a shy little woman throwing a tantrum like that. He couldn't help but laugh as he looked at her.

At this moment, the door to the ward was pushed open and Niki walked in. As if she did not expect Lisa to be there, the moment she entered, her eyes swept across the figure opposite Jennie's bed, then she turned around to look at the tall and straight figure of Lisa. Her eyes seemed to be filled with surprise.

While Jennie was eating soup with the bowl she had taken earlier, Lisa was patiently and gently wiping her mouth with a disinfectant handkerchief. They both were immersed in their own world.

Hearing the sound coming from the ward door, Jennie and Lisa subconsciously looked towards the door and saw Niki.

Jennie had no expression on her face; she just smiled at her naturally, but in her heart, she still minded Niki's presence. Lisa's expression did not change, and his eyes were as clear as a spring.
