Chapter 275 - Lisa Is Finally Here VI

She had just washed her face with cold water, so her skin was still slightly red. There was still moisture in her hair, and there was no makeup on her face. Her haggard appearance was obvious. Even her clothes had been splashed with water.

Jennie initially planned to pat BB Cream before returning to the room, but she did not expect to meet with Lisa.

So the moment she saw him, her eyes immediately became cold. Jennie turned around and was about to find a stairway when one of Lisa's hands grabbed her arm. His grip was so tight that she had no strength to struggle free.

They were so close to each other. Jennie struggled for a bit, but as she did that, she forgot that she was wearing high heels and almost lost her footing. She was nearly about to fall. Lisa immediately gripped on her waist, to stop her from falling.

"Let me go!" Jennie was so annoyed right now. Can't Lisa leave her alone?

There were several hotel staff on this floor corridor. Jennie wanted to scream, but Lisa quickly pulled her to the stairs, and then, in a dominant way, he took her out of the hotel, to the parking lot. He opened his car door and pushed her inside.

Jennie was furious, she did not expect the always gentle Lisa to act like this. She ground her teeth and cursed at him. She wanted to get out of the car but was stopped by him. Lisa immediately fastened the seatbelt and looked at her with a tender look, which made Jennie curse even more. "Lisa Manoban, what do you think you are doing? Leave me alone! Do you think I will forgive you as I always do?"

Jennie tried to push him away, to keep him away from her. She couldn't bear to look at his tender eyes. If this carried on, she might really end up forgiving him.

Instead of indulging her, Lisa quickly grabbed her hand, not allowing her to move. While she stared at him, he only gave her a deep look before pressing her hand down. "Don't move recklessly."

They were so close to each other and his breath hit her ears. Jennie gritted her teeth and glared at him. Lisa closed the door and walked around the car, to the driver seat. As soon as he got inside, he locked the door, immediately blocking her way out.

Lisa drove his car out of the parking lot, moving in the opposite direction from where Jennie stayed. Even though her pregnancy had reached two months, her reaction was still very heavy.

Due to her unstable emotional state, Jennie suddenly felt dizzy. She frowned and finally lost her rationale. Jennie angrily tried to unlock the car door, but she could not open it even after a long time. She took two deep breaths and sat on her seat, motionlessly.

"Your Chief Editor Wang was asking me for a chance to interview. What do you think? Should I agree with it?" Lisa asked softly. His usual cool eyes still impassive, but warmed when he looked at her.

Jennie took a deep breath. She had already sat in the car, so it was useless for her to struggle. Rational finally returned to her brain, but she still kept calm. She stayed silent for a while and then said coldly, "This is President Manoban's business has nothing to do with me."

Jennie would not be happy that the company would interview someone like Lisa, nor would she be surprised that he had made an exception to agree. For her, this was only just a job, and everything else concerning him had nothing to do with her.

Jennie had already reached the decision that she would never meet Lisa again or be by his side. But look at it now. He was driving her to an unknown location. Perhaps once, she would have felt exceptionally at ease whenever she was with him, but now, fear had grown in her heart because of that intense rejection.

At this moment, her phone rang. She looked down to see that V was calling her. Jennie wanted to answer the call, but before she could touch the green button on the screen, her phone was suddenly snatched by Lisa. She was shocked.

"Give me back my phone!"

"Sit down." Lisa whispered.

Jennie was furious as she looked at the gentle face that had always been kind to her. Although there was not even the slightest impatience in Lisa's expression and he was still patient with her, Jennie did not have the patience to waste time with him.

She immediately unfastened her seat belt and went to his side, trying to grab her phone back. The phone had already quieted down and was no longer ringing. Seeing Jennie like that and how she didn't wear a seatbelt, Lisa immediately let her snatch her phone back.

Jennie immediately retreated after getting the phone. She looked down at the screen and was about to call V back when her phone suddenly rang again.

This time, it was Jackson.

Lisa frowned slightly when he heard her cellphone ringtone that pierced the eardrum.

Jennie had always wanted to change the ringtone back to its usual tone, but she forgot to change it because she was busy. Feeling Lisa's eyes on her, she simply answered the call.

"Hello, Brother Wang." Her tone was helpless. If she had received V's call just now, she could have directly said that she was in Lisa's car. But now facing Jackson, she really didn't know how to explain her situation.

"Didn't you just say that you would immediately come down after going to the washroom? Why haven't you returned yet? Why didn't you answer Director Kim's call?" Jackson's voice sounded somewhat anxious as if he thought something had happened to her. "Did something happen?"

Something happened alright.

Lisa happened!

"I... Would you believe me if I said that I was kidnapped?" Jennie hesitantly looked at Lisa. His gaze also swept over her at the same time, carrying a hint of helplessness.?Jennie fiercely glared at him and turned her face away, refusing to look at him.

"Kidnapping?"

"I'm just kidding. Brother Wang, I'm fine. You guys eat first, don't wait for me." Jennie spoke seriously into the phone, but she wasn't sure of her current condition. Coupled with the car's increasing speed, she felt like throwing up again.

Jennie couldn't help but swallow her saliva. Before Jackson could ask more, she quickly hung up the phone and looked outside the window. She said coldly, "Let me off."

She leaned against the car seat. For some reason, she felt as if all the strength in her body had been sucked out of her.

However, Lisa ignored her and continued glancing at her a few times. He smiled helplessly. His handsome face was covered in the darkness, giving off a charisma that Jennie couldn't ignore.

She allowed herself to speak calmly, "Lisa, we are done here. Why can't you let me go and let me live my life peacefully?"
