"Do you have any objections? The two of us have not been apart for more than twenty years, and now that we are separated, it is not easy for us to be together. What's wrong with me staying with you for a month? Do you really want to kick me out of the house? Jennie Kim, don't tell me that once you get married, you start to forget about your brother?"

"Forget your head!" Jennie took the tissue box and threw it at V's head. "Damn brat, where did all this nonsense come from?"

"Then hurry up and drive, I'm going to starve to death!"

Jennie: "..."

At seven in the evening.

V was sitting comfortably and lazily on the sofa. When the door was opened from outside, he immediately waved politely," President Manoban, please don't take offence. I'm going to stay here for a while."

Lisa's footsteps paused for a moment. His posture was calm and graceful, always warm and clear. He glanced at V, who had the same calm expression.

V, this damn brat, was rarely polite, but his attitude made Jennie, who was squatting in the kitchen, cry. She immediately got up and ran out of the kitchen, only to see two pairs of eyes, one calm and the other emotionless, were staring straight at each other.

Jennie shuddered and hurried over.

At the same time, Lisa looked away and turned to her. His dark eyes met Jennie's.

Although he didn't have any intention to interrogate her, he was obviously wondering why V was here.

Jennie immediately said, "V is on annual leave. He decided to come and see me. I intend to prepare a sumptuous dinner tonight to feed this glutton!"

V had no reaction to her slanderous words, but he casually stood up.

Lisa slowed down his steps and in the blink of an eye, he was in front of him. V stepped forward and stretched out his hand. "President Manoban, I'm really sorry for not being able to receive you properly the last time when you are in F City."

Lisa looked down at his hand and shook it gently and courteously said, "It's fine. I'm not someone who will take heart over something that is unimportant. I'm sorry, I'm late. I didn't know you would come here."

"I came uninvited, of course I was the one who was being rude here. Don't be offended." V smiled earnestly.

The atmosphere between the two of them was simply too strange.

Jennie's scalp tingled as she watched the two of them shake hands as if they were having a discussion. She remained at her spot and glared at their hands. She was thinking about whether or not she should separate them.

Lisa only smiled and exchanged a few more polite words with V. Then, he looked back at Jennie, who was holding onto a carrot. He rolled up his sleeves as he walked over. "What are you standing there for? Let's go to the kitchen."

With that, he took the carrot out of her hand and returned to the kitchen.

Jennie turned around and looked at V, who was standing in front of the sofa with his hands on his hips.

After entering the kitchen, Jennie became a little lethargic. She lowered her head and walked over to Lisa's side. She tried to explain V's presence to him. "V and I have been living together for over 20 years. It's hard for us to spend time together, so--"

"I know." Without waiting for her to finish explaining herself, Lisa knocked her lightly on the forehead. "You think I'll be angry?"

Jennie was stunned. Looking at the faint smile in his eyes, she couldn't help but feel moved.
