Chapter 343 - Daddy!

One day, when Senior Zhou and Niki sent off some visiting officers, Jennie, who had just changed the bandage on her head, immediately went to Bella's bed.

Bella looked at her and then rolled her eyes. She turned her back and pointed her butt at her.

"Bella, I think we need to have a good talk." Jennie announced.

She took the opportunity to kiss her on the cheek. This caused Bella to be discontented, and she immediately shrunk backward with an expression that said Jennie was not allowed to come close.

Jennie thought about it for a moment and realized that she was already lonely in the ward. Bella was always cold to her, so she decided to bond.

Jennie picked up a bag of snacks next to Bella's bed and took out a Jell-O. She opened it and ate it while saying, "Aunt Jennie is going to tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was a Jell-O and a box of biscuits."

Jennie bit the jelly again. In fact, she didn't even know what she was really talking about. She just wanted to restore her relationship with Bella.

Bella listened to her story diligently, and her cute little face was full of trouble. In the end, when she found out that her snack had been eaten by Jennie, her mouth immediately sank, and she couldn't stop herself from crying.

This frightened Jennie. Originally, she wanted to use the story of Jell-O and the biscuits to soften this child's heart, but who knew that this girl would not accept it.

Jennie quickly hugged Bella to calm her down. "Be good. Don't cry. Auntie didn't intentionally let the biscuits eat your jelly."

When she said this, Bella really kept howling loudly.

Jennie was shocked because she had never heard a child crying loudly before. She quickly patted her back, gently and carefully.

Who said that we just have to pat the child's back to stop her from crying? That was all a lie. Her cry became louder as she patted this girl's back! Bella was crying like Jennie was taking her life.

Jennie wanted to cry, but she had no tears. She was quite lonely and just wanted to build a good relationship with this little girl. If she ate two of her jellyfish, at most, she will return two bags to her tomorrow. There's no need for Bella to cry like this.

Jennie held Bella as she stood by the window to look at the little goldfish. Bella barely stopped crying as she lowered her head to see the little goldfish swimming in the tank. She was curious and wanted to touch it, but Jennie immediately took a step back so that Bella would not kill it accidentally.

Jennie tried her best to coax Bella. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice behind her. "What's going on?"

Jennie's body stiffened. That voice was too familiar. It was so familiar that she thought she had misheard.

Lisa walked over and took the ear-splitting, crying Bella from her arms, 'Little Bella!'

Only then did Bella stop crying. Lisa looked at the bandage on Jennie's forehead and couldn't help but ask, "How did this happen?"

When Jennie saw that Bella curled up in his arms and stopped crying, she was stunned for a moment. Then, she subconsciously looked at Lisa's handsome face.

He frowned even more, "How can the ancestral hall collapse? You are injured too. How are you going to protect our child if you like to throw yourself in danger?"

Hearing the seriousness in his voice, Jennie pursed her lips and glanced at Bella, who was sticking out her tongue at her.

Lisa was startled, seeing how silent she was. He put Bella, who had obediently hidden in his embrace, onto the sickbed. He then turned around and wanted to check on Jennie's forehead when Bella behind him cried out with a face full of vinegar, "Daddy! Are you here to see Bella?"
