Jennie wiped her hair. She was happy to see Somi act so relaxed in front of her.

Jennie then shifted her gaze to Somi's bulging stomach. Somi would not be able to hide it any longer and everyone in Manoban Family will know about it sooner or later.

Jennie could not help but ask, "Your brother already knows about your pregnancy, so what do you plan to do in the future?"

Somi paused and looked back at her. "After your wedding is over, I will return to the United States."

"I'm not asking about that. I'm talking about the child. Are you still not willing to tell me who the father is? Your brother should be able to find out soon, so why do you have to make things so difficult for yourself?"

Somi didn't say anything. She got up, walked to the table, and cut another piece of cake. After that, she gave it to Jennie. Jennie took it and then she heard Somi ask softly, "Has my brother looked for GD in the past two days?"

Jennie was momentarily stunned. She looked at Somi's calm gaze and didn't know what to say for a moment. Somi finally acknowledged it.

"If I'm not mistaken, my brother already knows about it, but he will not be able to do anything in the near future. Moreover, this is not the time for him to look for GD, because ..." Somi smiled and caressed her stomach. "This child's father...Frankly speaking, I did not intend to make him shoulder the responsibility. After all, I did it voluntarily. He got drunk that day and I helped him to get to the hotel. He never knew it was me."

Somi's expression was relaxed. She looked up at Jennie's shocked face and smiled, "Sister-in-law, you've already guessed it right? Women have the most acute sense of everything. In front of you and my brother, I am often like an open book."

"It's really his? Then, are you planning to tell him about it?" Jennie frowned.

Somi lowered her head, took the red cherry from the cake, put it in her mouth, and laughed. "So what if one day he knows? He knew I had feelings for him, and that's why he kept a distance from me. I was his best friend's sister, and he said he could have a lot of women. I still remember his confident expression when he said those words to me. GD, who was always friendly with women, and GD, who was known for his indifference to women, could also be so heartless. I know that his cynical attitude is only a facade, but I didn't expect that his rationality was also so hurtful."

"For the past two years, he would occasionally avoid meeting me, and if we by accident met each other, he would politely greet me.If it wasn't for the fact that he met me on the opening day of the mall a month before he returned, if not because he was too drunk and I had to bring him to his hotel, if not because he vomited and I help him take off his clothes, maybe this child won't be here."

Somi lightly stroked her belly as she said this. Her eyes carried a hint of a smile, "My child, please don't beg me to find your father. If he didn't want it, then I don't plan to bother him."

She then bit her lips. "I'd rather raise this child on my own."

"You're so good. GD isn't usually that heartless, is he? How could he possibly avoid shouldering this responsibility?" Jennie tried hard to suppress her shock. Even if GD was heartless, she felt that he shouldn't be so heartless to such an outstanding woman like Somi.

Somi laughed as if Jennie was telling a joke, but that was also an ironic truth. "Because of you."

Jennie froze. Somi smiled bitterly and continued, "Sister-in-law, don't misunderstand. I tell you all this now without hatred. It is not your fault that he has you in his heart. If it's not you, then it will be someone else. But because of your relationship with my brother, I was unwilling to say anything to you. Now that the wedding ceremony between you and my brother has almost arrived, I can finally let go of my worries and chat freely with you. Otherwise, I worry if I hold it too long, it will make our relationship feel very uncomfortable."

Never in a million years, Jennie thought GD's relationship with Somi would be like this. She always believed that the two of them were good competitors who always wanted to compete in anything, but she never thought their relationship was too complicated.

Somi was pregnant with his child and refused to tell anyone that there was a secret relationship between the two of them.

It seemed that she had been too simple.

Looking at Somi's calm attitude, Jennie couldn't help but sigh.

The setbacks and blows were something that tempered people the most. It could be one blow that caused one to lose their spirit or a factor for a person to become strong.

It was obvious that Somi was the same kind of person as Jennie. At this age where the flowers in the mountains were blooming, Somi had already trained her tenacious heart to be strong to face all setbacks and blows.

Before going to bed at night, Jennie received a call from Lisa.

"What are you doing?"

"Applying a mask." Jennie had a white mask on her face as she watched TV with a plate of half-eaten cake on her lap. She didn't have to go to work for the time being.

"Have you eaten the cake? Somi likes to eat sweet food. I know you don't like it, but since that girl asked, I sent someone to buy a box for her."

"The cake is not bad, it's just too sweet." Jennie glanced at the plate on her lap.

Yes, the cake was very sweet and greasy. Not the type that she liked.

"Then eat less. It would be best if you reminded yourself not to go hungry before tomorrow's wedding. You will be busy at the ceremony later and there will not be many opportunities to eat."

"Alright." Jennie removed the mask on her face but remained leaning against the bed. She stared at a spot on the wall and said, "Lisa..."

"Hmm?"

She paused, suddenly realizing that she did not know what to say. "It's nothing. I just wanted to call out your name."

"Heh, idiot."

Since the bride and groom won't see each other during the day, Somi immediately dragged Jennie along to go shopping.

When the two of them returned to the hotel in the evening, they saw GD's car parked there. Somi's footsteps immediately paused for a moment meanwhile Jennie went to his car and greeted him.
