The boys clutched their heads, stumbling as a sudden surge crashed through their minds-
Memories. Emotions. Pain.
Whatever had slammed into them had ripped something loose...
Something buried. Something forbidden.
A voice rumbled.
Not aloud.
But deep. Inside.
Old. Bold. Unhinged.
"Finally awake, are you, hatchlings?"
It was R.M., Namjoon's dragon.
His voice sounded like mountains grinding in agony, fire gasping beneath stone.
"I should burn you where you stand and find a rider worthy of the gift. You disgrace us. Is this your idea of duty? Of legacy? You play at war, blind to what's right in front of you."
Namjoon winced, rubbing his temples.
He opened his mouth, but-
"Took you long enough to realize she was the key," came Suga's voice-low, venomous, ancient shadows curling around each syllable.
"Fools. You nearly destroyed everything we are. What were you thinking?"
"We didn't know!" Yoongi shouted aloud, his voice cracking.
"We tried! We really tried!"
"Tried?" R.M. snarled, fire rippling through the bond like a wave of scorn.
"You call that trying? We gave you visions. Warnings. Dreams. And you shut your eyes to all of it."
"We trained you for this," Suga hissed. "And still you crawl."
Silence fractured.
Then came the storm.
The dragons, long-muted, now thundered through the mind-link with fury unbound.
"You were marked," V growled, wings snapping wide in the mental realm.
He turned to J.K., eyes burning.
"And weren't you supposed to protect us?"
The purple dragon trembled, crouched on Jungkook's shoulder, claws digging into fabric.
"Not my fault," J.K. muttered. "We tried to block it. But it drained us."
Jungkook sighed, nodding.
"They're strong," he said through the link.
Absolutely! Here's a cleaner, more intense version that sharpens R.J.'s fury and unhinged tone:
"Of course it drained us," R.J. snapped from Y/N's shoulder, her voice crackling like ice over fire. "These fools reject the mate bond like it's beneath them-arrogant, blind mortals. We don't have time!" Her eyes blazed. "The bond must be completed-now! Half-bonded, half-broken-half dead that's what we are! "You're not just waiting-you're tearing us apart!"
"Time is slipping-this bond must be forged, fully and without hesitation. Only then will we be whole. But look at you-stumbling in a bond haze, your senses warped, your thoughts sluggish. You wake drenched in sweat, hearts racing for no reason, drawn to her but too afraid to act. Minds clouded, instincts dulled-you're lost in confusion. You're not ready for war-you can't even see straight!"
"We are not in a bond haze!" Namjoon protested, jaw tight.
R.M. snapped his head toward him, eyes glowing like molten stone ready to erupt.
"Then why do you wake up gasping-choking on dreams soaked in heat and blood?" he snarled.
"Why does your magic crackle like a dying ember? Why does your spine go rigid every time she breathes your name, yet you do nothing? Pride?"
His voice exploded like an earthquake through the link.
"You are rotting in it, Namjoon. Drowning-and dragging us with you."
R.M. roared.
The mind-link lit up like a wildfire, searing through the boys' heads. Pain. Guilt. Rage.
