A sound stirred her awake.
Her head throbbed as she blinked, her vision still hazy. Slowly, she pushed herself up, but the moment her palm brushed against her cheek, a sharp sting shot through her skin. She jerked back, pressing her fingers lightly against the sore spot.
"Did you rub your cheek?"
The familiar voice made her pause. She absently nodded before her senses fully returned.
Then, realization hit.
Her eyes snapped open, taking in the scene around her.
Jin stood nearby, placing a box on the table, his expression unreadable. Behind him, the others were dressed in full gear, packing their bags with swift,
practiced movements.
Her stomach twisted.
“What are you all doing here?” she asked, her voice rough with sleep. Then, a more pressing question settled in.
“What am I doing here?”
Jin moved closer, reaching out to carefully check her bandages. His touch was firm yet gentle as he peeled them back, inspecting the wound beneath.
"Your cut is deep," he murmured, eyes narrowing slightly. "You need to see a healer."
She barely had time to process his words before a sharp sting made her flinch. Jin had already opened a small vial, dabbing the thick golden potion onto her cheek. The liquid hissed softly as it met her skin, sealing the wound—but not before fresh blood trickled down, a single crimson drop slipping past her jaw.
The air shifted.
The room tensed.
The boys’ eyes darkened, flickering with an almost inhuman glow.
Their gazes snapped to Jin.
A silent message passed between them as Jin merely gave a curt nod, his expression calm but knowing. He had expected their reaction.
She swallowed. She didn’t notice the way the tension thickened, the way their breathing subtly changed—sharp, restrained. She didn’t realize how tightly wound they were.
But they felt it.
She winced as she shifted, soreness weighing down her limbs. Every inch of her body ached, like she had been thrown into battle and left to crawl out of it.
Her brows furrowed.
“What… Did I do?”
She truly didn’t remember.
Silence stretched for a moment before Jimin let out a quiet chuckle, amusement dancing in his eyes.
"You traumatized us," he said with a smirk.
Y/N shot him a glare, lips pressing into a thin line.
Of course, he’d say that.
Y/N shot him a glare, crossing her arms. "You traumatized. me every time you open your mouth."
Jimin gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his heart. "I doubt I can top the stunt you pull tomorrow," he muttered, shaking his head.
Jin sighed, closing the vial. "Let's hope she doesn't try."
“We don’t have time—we need to leave,” Namjoon said firmly.
Y/N looked up at him, her brows knitting together. “Where are you going?”
Namjoon hesitated for a brief moment before answering. “We have a mission.”
Jin sighed, his voice softer. “There’s something we need to talk about before we go.”
But Yoongi moves forward when he shows Jin looking and not saying anything. He stepped forward, y/n eyes moved to him cutting straight to the point.
