Holding hands, embracing, Ling Jie...

Hand in hand, they watched the sea and collected many beautiful shells together. During lunch with friends, the two of them sat side by side, shoulders touching as they shared food. As they chatted over the meal, Yu Ting leaned in to whisper in Ran Ling's ear, asking if she was tired and if she wanted to head back to the hotel for a nap.

Ran Ling only needed to nod gently, and Yu Ting would take her hand, smiling as she told their friends, "Ling Jie is tired; I need to take her back to the hotel for a nap."

In front of others, Yu Ting confidently took charge, ensuring that the silent Ran Ling didn't have to worry or feel burdened. All she needed to do was quietly enjoy the thoughtfulness that Yu Ting provided.

Back at the hotel, Ran Ling quickly freshened up in the bathroom, changed into her pajamas, and entered the bedroom.

The air conditioning was set to a comfortable twenty degrees, and the soft quilt retained the serene look it had when they left in the morning, exuding a faint jasmine fragrance.

Ran Ling climbed onto the bed and pulled up the quilt. Yu Ting walked in from outside and drew the curtains. Looking down, she noticed Ran Ling was watching her.

After a moment of eye contact, Yu Ting understood her expression and softly said, "Go ahead and sleep. I'm not tired; I'll read for a bit."

Yu Ting held a book with a green cover, settling into the rocking chair by the floor-to-ceiling window to read.

The world outside was quiet, and the dimly lit room held a certain enchanting atmosphere. After a while, Ran Ling turned over, facing away from Yu Ting.

Comfortable, loving, and pampered—this was how everyone around them viewed their state on this island.

But it wasn't enough... Ran Ling seemed to grow greedier.

On the third day, the freshness and excitement from the wedding gradually faded into calm, and everyone set off back to the city.

On the ship, the two early risers sat on the deck soaking up the sun. Yu Ting leaned back in her chair playing on her phone, her sleepiness drawing teasing comments from Qi Min, who approached, "So tired? So low on energy? How late did you stay up last night?"

She glanced at Ran Ling: "Ling Jie looks quite energetic, though. A Ting, you're not the one below, are you?"

Seeing Ran Ling's surprised expression, Qi Min pressed on: "Ling Jie looks so delicate; I didn't expect you to be a one, after all, it seems you're the older sister."

"What nonsense are you saying?" Yu Ting shot her a glance, too lazy to engage.

"Right? Ling Jie?" She laughed in a teasing manner.

One?

Ran Ling blinked, unsure how to respond to that. She... didn't mind, but she worried that Yu Ting might feel embarrassed or upset from her friends' teasing.

Feeling Ran Ling's concerned gaze, Yu Ting said, "Don't mind her; she's just being silly."

"Alright, alright," Qi Min said, sensing the moment to back off. "I'm crazy; how about a mahjong game? Set up a table? Can Ling Jie play?"

Yu Ting showed little interest: "No, thanks."

"Okay~ I'll find someone else."

With Qi Min gone, it became quiet again.

Yu Ting propped her chin up with one hand while scrolling through her phone with the other, looking very relaxed and a bit sluggish.

Suddenly, a message popped up on her phone: [Is Ting Ting very tired?]
