"This is Shiyi; Sister Ling met her on the island last time, so she should remember her," Yu Ting introduced Ran Ling.

Ran Ling always carried herself with elegance and courtesy in public. She suppressed the momentary stiffness, smiled gently, raised her hand, and lightly touched the one held in front of her. Before Shiyi could react, she had already withdrawn her hand.

Shiyi raised an eyebrow, sizing up Ran Ling and smiled, "Miss Ran has such great poise. Do you also like Lin Jian?"

Shiyi had evidently done her homework on Ran Ling and knew she was in the art circle too. It was likely that Yu Ting had brought her to this exhibition.

Ran Ling responded only with a subtle smile, understated yet appropriate.

What a mute... Shiyi glanced at Yu Ting, who was willing to accompany her.

"Did you come here alone, Miss Shiyi?" Yu Ting asked, her tone filled with a thick layer of politeness. She was always skilled at this, subtly distancing herself while trying to provoke Shiyi. After all, she had clearly heard Shiyi's heartfelt words that night. Yet, Shiyi remained unmoved, only occasionally replying to her messages based on her mood, which was infuriating.

Did Yu Ting even have a heart?

Thinking of this, Shiyi's gaze turned resentful. "Who else could accompany me?"

"I see," Yu Ting said, "It seems like Miss Shiyi wanted to clear her mind alone today."

If it weren't for this unexpected encounter right now.

"In that case, we won't disturb you."

After a long pause, Shiyi seemed to scoff lightly, "Alright then, let's have dinner together next time~"

Yu Ting smiled, her demeanor radiating an indescribable carefree charm, yet it was incredibly captivating. Shiyi was momentarily stunned, and in the next second, Yu Ting lowered her gaze and softly said to Ran Ling, "Let's go look over there."

Ran Ling was led away by her, brushing past Shiyi, who stood frozen in place.

Not far from there, Ran Ling suddenly tightened her grip on Yu Ting's wrist. Yu Ting turned to look and found Ran Ling's face was filled with pain, her complexion had inexplicably turned pale.

"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Yu Ting felt a bit anxious; she had seemed fine just a moment ago. How could she suddenly...?

Ran Ling only looked at her, pressing her lips tightly together, saying nothing. Clearly, she had lost the mood to continue looking at the paintings.

Exhibition Hall Rest Area

Thinking Ran Ling might have low blood sugar, Yu Ting peeled a chocolate and offered it to her, but she refused to eat. A staff member handed over a bottle of water, but Ran Ling took only a couple of sips before turning her face away. Yu Ting supported her shoulders, allowing her to lean against herself, and softly asked, "Still feeling unwell?"

Ran Ling shook her head, resting her forehead against Yu Ting's chin. She seemed to have eased a little, but her face remained pale and devoid of color.

Clearly, she was still unwell.

"Do you want to go to the hospital? Where does it hurt? Is it a stomachache? Or chest pain? Do you have any medicine?" Yu Ting's phone lay on the table, buzzing occasionally with WeChat notifications, but she ignored it.

Ran Ling still shook her head, closing her eyes. Yu Ting wrapped her arms around her waist, letting her rest more comfortably.

There were others in the rest area, and the sight of the two beautiful women leaning against each other attracted some attention. Many people stole glances, and passersby looked twice, but Yu Ting didn't mind.
