Regarding sign language, Yu Ting searched online and found a variety of information. Unsure how to begin, she thought of Qi Min, who knew someone in the field, and sent her a WeChat message asking:

"Don't you have a friend working at a special school?"

"Send me their contact."

At that moment, Qi Min was busy with important matters and didn't have time to reply.

Downstairs outside a restaurant, Mr. Jin, looking cold and aloof, was accompanied by a sharply dressed man—gold-rimmed glasses, slicked-back hair, a beard, and a gold watch, holding an extravagant bouquet of roses.

"Miss Jin, I genuinely like you and hope you can give me a chance. I'm not saying we have to be together immediately; I want to pursue you and show you my sincerity. If I don't do well enough, you can just reject me. I mean it."

"No need; I have no plans for a relationship."

"There's no need to reject me so quickly; you can think about it first. Are you waiting for a ride? I just happen to have a car. I can give you a lift, and we can chat on the way. You can rest assured, I'm a gentleman; besides driving you, I won't do anything else."

Qi Min was sitting on the second floor of a café diagonally behind them, recognizing the man as a notorious rich kid from a certain group known in their circle for being scummy, with a history of numerous scandals, including allegations of domestic violence. She quickly grabbed her bag and headed downstairs.

Ignoring the man's advances, Jin Ya was unfazed. However, with onlookers present, the man felt his pride wounded by her indifference and grew irritated, attempting to grab Jin Ya's arm. Jin Ya frowned and took a step back.

"Mr. Wang, please behave yourself."

"Miss Jin, can you not be so arrogant? I'm not bad myself. Once we're together, I can give you whatever you want. You won't find a better man than me..."

"Miss Jin—"

Qi Min parked in front of them, rolled down her window, and shot Jin Ya a flirtatious look. "Need a ride?"

The bespectacled man recognized Qi Min and knew she was a lesbian, looking somewhat stunned. "You know Qi Min?"

The way Qi Min looked at Jin Ya was overly affectionate.

"You and her...?"

Two seconds passed. Jin Ya lowered her eyes and quietly got into Qi Min's car.

"Damn..."

The man stood frozen for a moment, cursing under his breath at the exhaust fumes.

Jin Ya didn't sit in the front passenger seat; she took the back seat.

Qi Min glanced in the rearview mirror and saw the man angrily toss the flowers onto the ground. She couldn't help but sneer, "Not handsome, older, with a history of domestic violence and so many scandals... Does he really think money is impressive? Miss Jin doesn't lack money either; how could she possibly like him? He's really clueless. I wish he could share some of that misplaced confidence with me; I wouldn't..."

"Drop me off up ahead," Jin Ya interrupted.

Qi Min blinked, "Huh? Aren't you heading back to the office? We're not even near Yu's company."

"I can go back myself."

Qi Min sighed and changed the subject. "You're not going to thank me for helping you out of that disgusting situation? How rude!"

Jin Ya looked at the reflection of the woman in the rearview mirror. "Aren't you the same?"

Qi Min was taken aback, realizing what Jin Ya meant—she followed her around like that obnoxious man.
