"Baby..."

"Sister..."

Yu Ting called out randomly, saying whatever sounded sweet. The kisses were deep and passionate, and Ran Ling soon found it hard to breathe. Yu Ting cherished her immensely; noticing she was struggling, she pulled back, panting as she waited, staring intently at her until she recovered before kissing her again.

Gently rubbing her lips against Ran Ling's, she held her close and went deeper. Ran Ling was still as fragile as before; after a couple of kisses, Yu Ting stopped—she felt a pang of pain, reluctant to continue.

Despite the overwhelming desire... Yu Ting preferred to restrain herself. She held Ran Ling tightly in her arms, locking her in a way that made it impossible for her to escape. She buried her face in the crook of Ran Ling's neck, inhaling deeply to soothe the surging emotions.

Ran Ling was limp in her embrace, leaning on her shoulder, listening to her call her name softly, hearing her whisper sweet nothings filled with immense joy.

"I'm so happy, really so happy..."

"I love you, I will treat you very well, believe me."

"Believe me..."

She wanted Ran Ling to trust her.

Ran Ling's silence made her anxious, prompting her to soothe and repeat herself. When Ran Ling finally softly responded with a "Mm," and hugged her back, Yu Ting stopped her obsessive repetitions, satisfied to hold her close.

They embraced for a long time, until a maid knocked on the door, saying dinner was ready, prompting them to reluctantly part from each other's arms.

Ran Ling's lips were swollen from kisses, her face flushed, and her eyes misty, looking particularly charming in Yu Ting's eyes.

The delicate woman signed to her: [Did you eat today?]

Yu Ting honestly replied, "Baby, I can't eat."

From the torment of last night to just now, Yu Ting hadn't eaten anything all day. The excitement had dulled her sense of hunger, but her body still bore the brunt of the toll.

This had become routine for Yu Ting; it was her life after leaving Ran Ling.

Ran Ling frowned, gently touching her head, then leaning in to rest her forehead against Yu Ting's, signing: [Ting Ting is so pitiful.]

Yu Ting gently rubbed against her, her voice soft, "Mm... Sister Ling, please save me." She didn't remember that it was Ran Ling who had changed her this way, that it was Ran Ling who intentionally didn't respond to her messages all night, making her forget to eat or sleep.

All she remembered was that Ran Ling felt sorry for her now, which made her happy, made her want to hear more words of concern from Ran Ling.

Did she want Sister Ling to save her?

Of course, Sister Ling could.

She used to spoil her wife so much; even though they were divorced now, she had at least forgiven her mistakes, and a little indulgence was acceptable.

She kissed Yu Ting again and smiled, signing: [How about we go down and eat now? I had the servants prepare your favorites.]

Yu Ting couldn't take her eyes off her face, "Mm..."

Ran Ling still remembered what she liked to eat. That made her happy.

The two of them went downstairs for dinner; Wei Rumei was not in the manor, leaving just the two of them, which made Yu Ting feel much more relaxed. After dinner, whether to stay or leave was another issue. As Yu Ting started to feel anxious, Ran Ling took the initiative to invite her to stay the night.
