I cleared my throat and licked my lips before I clapped my hands together, and Caroline flinched at the sudden movement. "Ok," I said, biting back a small smile while I tucked my head closer to my chest in apology. "Are you ready to do this?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question, studying her. "Or do you have other questions you need to ask of me before we start?"

Caroline hesitated, and her cheeks turned red while she looked at her feet, not able to meet my gaze any longer. She had questions; I could tell, but she wanted to get this started first and do something else after this before she asked them.

I bit back a small laugh and nodded. "Ok," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet, growing serious. "So, I want you to go ahead and do what I had told you to do. I want you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in. When you take a deep breath in, you will raise your hands upward together. When you let it out with a small whoosh, you will push your hands down and let them move apart from each other before you do it again."

She nodded and bit the inside of her lip, hesitating ever so slightly. "Are you doing this with me?" she asked and cocked her head to the side, and I nodded in confirmation.

"Yes," I said. "Now, go ahead and close your eyes and start doing what I told you to do. I will do the same thing as you. If something feels weird or starts to happen, let it. It's normal."

Caroline slowly nodded and furrowed her brows. "How do you know that?" she asked and raised an eyebrow in question while she studied me. "Has that happened to you?"

"Yes," I said and nodded in confirmation, biting back a small smile. "It happens mainly to my twin brother because you know, he controls water, but it will happen to me on occasion."

"Ok," Caroline said and nodded, hesitating ever so slightly. She took a deep breath and released it with a small whoosh before she closed her eyes and held out her hands.

The next Red wolf started to do what I told her to do, and I watched her while I placed my hands behind my back, not doing it just yet and deciding to watch her and make sure that she was safe and doing it correctly.

Her heart pounded gently in her chest while she continued to do what I told her to do, and her hands started to glow, which was something that I didn't expect and didn't know who to ask because I knew that no one would understand this.

Oh Goddess, this was interesting...

The water started to glow a light blue color, and I stared at her with wide eyes filled with wonderment, but I didn't say a word or stop her from doing this. Her whole body was relaxed while she did this, and the water was happy that she was relaxed and did what she wanted it to do.

The water flowed up and down with each breath Caroline took and each movement she made, rising slowly but surely until it was touching our knees.

I had this urge to start doing what I had told her to do, but I didn't, wanting to make sure that we stayed safe and alive, even though it slowly but surely started to get harder and harder to ignore the feeling.

Oh Goddess, please don't let this hurt us, I silently prayed, biting the inside of my lip and hesitating ever so slightly.

I took a deep breath and released it with a small whoosh before I closed my eyes and did what I told her to do. My whole body was relaxed when I started to do what I told Caroline to do, and I could hear this strange noise coming from the waters.

I tucked my head closer to my chest and bit the inside of my lip harder before I slowly started to allow myself to listen to the melody and see what it wanted me to see.

Images started to appear in my head too blurry for me to make out and going too fast for me to dive into and see what they actually meant.

Soon, however, the images started to become clearer and less fast as if this was what I needed to see and remember and nothing before it because it wasn't important.

I saw a man who I instantly recognized as Cromwell fall out of a tree and look at me with one storm gray eye and one red eye. He mouthed something to me that I didn't know and wasn't able to ponder on because the image changes.

I saw the same man, even though he looked different than what I had seen before this image, and he had red eyes and a sneer on his face, looking sinister and more evil than he had in the past.

He glanced in my direction as if he sensed me watching this conversation before he turned his attention back to the person in front of him, saying something else.

Again, the image changed before I could comprehend what was happening and was replaced with a weatherly aged woman with long white hair and blue eyes that I instantly recognized, biting back a small gasp of shock and relief.

Clarissa...

She seemed to sense that I was there and turned to look at me. She bowed her head and silently signaled soon as if she knew that I wouldn't be able to hear her before she turned away from me and did something else.

Again the image changed before I could figure out what was happening with her and was replaced with an image of Caroline being locked up and staring at something or someone that I couldn't see with a pale face and betrayal in her eyes before she looked beside her at someone else that I couldn't see and then toward the main person.

Oh, no...

That image changed to that of Fernos holding a box out to me with a hard look on his face, and I couldn't help but sigh with relief because I instantly knew what it was.

Oh thank Goddess it was here and safe.

Again that image changed to a group of people staring at something with shock and amazement filling their eyes, and the only one I could make out was Caroline, who seemed to be saying something to an unknown figure and all I could make out was "shifted" and nothing else.

Did I shift in front of them? Was that why they were standing around? I silently questioned, but I couldn't worry about it for too long because the image changed again.

A king sat on a throne with a crown on his head and blue eyes filled with distrust and annoyance. He didn't say anything that I could hear but I gathered that it was something that I would soon find out.

The king, Orion, didn't seem to notice that I was there but someone did because they shifted in my direction as if they didn't want him to notice me.

Willa....

The image changed before I could mouth her name before a wispy female took her place and seemed to be leading people somewhere, and I had a feeling that one of them was me.

She seemed to sense that I was watching and winked at me with a small smirk on her face before she turned her attention away from me and answered a question that I couldn't hear.

Has this happened before? Did I find a way to get to the future and was seeing the path that was laid out for me; for us?

The image changed to that of a Feral Demon King, angry at the world and everything around it and I couldn't help but gasp out in shock because I knew that it was Fernos.

Oh, no...

He roared in anger and lurched toward me with murder in his eyes, and I couldn't help but gasp and take a step back but tripped and fell before I got too far away from him.

I watched as he landed in front of me and lurched toward me again, and for some reason I couldn't move from the attack that was about to happen.

So with a heavy heart and a heavy soul, I closed my eyes and accepted the fate that was set out for me.

And after that, everything turned...

...black.
