(Finnick POV)
I don't have enough time to yell at Beetee to run before a net is launched from the hovercraft. I watch Beetee try to run, but the net captures him, that's the last thing I see before I turn the other way an keep running. Why didn't they shoot him? Then I come to the awful realization that they will torture him until he tells them where we are. I run deeper and deeper into the woods, with each step I can feel my energy draining. I run into something. It's not hard like a tree, or soft, and full of thorns like a bush, I ran into a person. I jump back to my feet as quickly as possible to see Johanna quickly standing up. She sees me and says the words I didn't want to hear, "They got Gale."
