(Finnick POV)
It's been two days since the bombing. Paylor was surprised the bombs didn't reach the first bunker, she's called a one week lockdown and only a small team of people will be digging a small opening for us to reach the surface, she's afraid the bombs could have left a fatal amount of radiation over the district and has called for the look down. Annie and Finn have been extremely traumatized, I love them deeper than the deepest depths of the ocean. I Katniss took me to the front gates of the bunker where no one is and told me about Snow. I was confused at first to why she would be so private about the issue, but it got me thinking, Snow's best venom is fear, he ruled a democracy only using fear and poisons to rule what was basically a monarchy, he will at all costs rise again to power unless we kill him. But even a dead snake when handled without care still has venom, and that is his army, his mindless army, following only his commands. If we want to get rid of the snake, we have to chop off the head and throw it away, that would mean using Snow's own venom of fear and using it to keep his army under control until we can fully filter it, and that could take generations and lives lost, but is a price we will have to pay to make sure the future generations will succeed in having a better government, and a better world.
