(Annie POV) *this will be short and boring, I just need to explain where Annie will be for the next couple of chapters*
We're only a few minutes from thirteen, Finn sleeps, I look out of the cafeteria window at the miles of endless woods. We stop over a huge lake, the hovercraft submerges into the water, we sink to the bottom, then the bottom of the lake splits in two, the hovercraft carefully and quickly lands on a platform underneath the opening. Water rushes into the room we're in, but a drain gets rid of the water quickly, everyone on the Hovercraft quickly rushes off the hovercraft. We walk down a long pathway, leading us to a ton of waiting citizens of thirteen. The greet us with cheers and smiles, they applaud us happily. I quickly rush through the crowd Finnick following me, I hate the attention, so I keep my head down, and hold Finn tight. We finally get to a room, pretty much all of thirteen is new so they all smell like paint fumes and new carpet. There's two beds, so I set Finn in the other bed, and I sit on the edge of the other bed, sigh close my eyes and relax my stressed muscles, I feel a hand on my shoulder, I open my eyes to see Finnick siting next to me. I don't really feel like talking. I lay down in the bed tired, Finnick lays down next to me as well, I turn my back to him, he puts an arm around me, and I know how the next couple of weeks will go, just like in the last war, I'll stay here, this time I'll have Finn to keep my occupied, Finnick will go out to fight, he may return, he may not. I know I can't keep him from fighting that war so I'm going to enjoy as much time as I can with him. I just wish I could stay here with him forever, we fall asleep together, and hope that soon this war will be over so we can live a normal life for once.
