(Katniss POV)
Just as we're arriving at the fence of district 2, we hear hundreds of gunshots, probably the peacekeepers that we're born in 2 killing off the people from the Capitol, and other districts. I look up to the mostly destroyed mountain that I, and my team of rebels destroyed during the war. The mountain. That's why district 2 is rebelling our new government. Unlike most of the districts district 1 and 2 liked the Hunger Games, because they always won. I realize we never really gave them a chance we just killed a bunch of their people, and the remaining want to take over. I look back to the top of the mountain, and see a few men using a giant machine gun to shoot off anybody to stop them from taking over. Just as we get maybe 100 yards from the fence the machine gun barrel points to us. "Duck," Finnick yells as he still try's to maneuver the jeep away from the bullets. Just as we start to turn the jeep around there's a loud crash, the fence been torn down by a jeep like ours coming straight for is I can just make out the person driving, the person I met when I was 12 years old, the person with the seam gray eyes, Gale. I haven't seen him since Prim. In the back seat I see Annie, and Fin. I look up to Finnick in the front seat, about to look behind him. I immediately block his view from Fin, I know he won't be able to focus on dodging the bullets when he sees Fin the child he didn't know he had. "Who's behind us?" He asks. "Gale," I say. I know I said something wrong when his eyes widen with fear and worry. "And Annie," I say. He relaxes when I say that. We drive for 2 hours before arriving at an old train station near the Capitol, and decide to sleep there. As we're getting out of the jeep I know I won't be able to block Finnick's view from Fin anymore.
