(main base woman)
I sit on a picnic blanket with my husband, and my young daughter, we eat our favorite lunch of turkey sandwiches, and sugar cookies. Just being here in district 2, and supporting Snow, and enjoying ourselves can help Snow win the rebellion and my family and I can go back to living in the Capitol, without having to work so hard for our wealth. I smile as my 2 year old daughter eats the cookies, smiling. My husband smiles at me enjoying the sight that we've come so far and made a beautiful family. I look around at the other small houses of district 2, a large concrete wall about 20 feet high separates us from the outside world, the peacekeepers only took a few days to put it up, and it gives me a sense of security. The only doors are on the other side of the district, near the hospital, and only peacekeepers can exit it. My husband reads a book about politics, and why Snow should be president. I look up at the clouds, only a few drift peacefully through the sky, I notice an  object approaching from the sky at a rapid pace. I immediately realize it's a missile. I look at my child and my husband and say, "I love you guys." "I love you too," my husband says smiling at me. "I love you too mommy," my child says smiling, cookie crumbs doting her cheeks. I pull her in for a hug, then everything goes black.
