North entered the kitchen and sighed heavily as he noticed Marc standing in front of the stove cooking what smelled like pancakes. "Pancakes again?"

"Morning to you too," Marc said without turning around.

He bent down to open the oven door and pulled out the baking sheets. North watched as he sat them on the cooling racks before he grabbed the tongs and started flipping the bacon strips so Marc could keep his focus on the pancakes. Once they were flipped over, Marc opened the oven door so North could put them back in the oven to finish cooking.

"Don't give me that look, North," Marc said, feeling North's disapproval gaze on his back. "She likes pancakes and it's something that her stomach can handle right now."

"It's been four days now," North pointed out. "I'm sure we can try something else. Doc said she is improving and her energy is coming back."

"Do you want me to try scrambled eggs again?"

North grimaced as the memory came racing back. "Pancakes sound good."

"I'm making us a variety of pancakes and some muffins too."

"I'll make smoothies and fruit salads once everyone is awake," North nodded.

"That's a good idea," Marc nodded. "How did she handle the smoothie last night? I didn't get a chance to ask once I got home."

"She managed to keep some of it down," Luke replied as he entered the kitchen while stretching. "Pancakes again?"

"Yes," Marc nodded.

"Fine with me," Luke smiled. "Doc said anything she can manage to keep down at this point–"

"Doc say why she's struggling with keeping food down?" North interrupted. "We need to get more watermelon and we're almost out."

"I'll put it on the list since it's her favorite," Luke nodded. "Doc thinks her body is just taking longer to heal from everything since she got sick with that stomach bug right after we brought her home."

"Instead of easing her into food we gave into her wishes and that wasn't the best idea," Marc nodded in agreement. "We should have known better than that but I get it, we were just focused on her coming back to us and getting her blood replenished. Then her getting sick," he shook his head. "Anyway, we'll get her back to her healthy self again slowly and carefully. Do you think she is still Little?"

"I don't know," the brothers said at the same time. "If she is, she is."

"As long as she is feeling better I don't care if she's little or big," Nathan said as he walked in. He glanced at the stove, "Pancakes again? I'll grab the syrup."

"If you know of another food that she likes and can keep down," Marc said tensely, "please enlighten me and I'll make it."

"I didn't mean anything by it, sorry," Nathan shook his head. "I love pancakes, I don't mind eating them everyday. Sorry, Man."

Marc sighed as he sat the spatula down, "I'm sorry too."

Footsteps approaching had them going quiet. "Do you know what you are hungry for, Angelos Mou?" Silas' voice drifted to them.

"Angelos Mou?" North whispered as he glanced at Nathan, Luke, and Marc. They nodded. "She's big."

"I don't know Si," her exhausted voice comes seconds later. "I think I want some yogurt. I think it will feel good on my throat. But biscuits and gravy sounds yummy too."

"That does sound good," Silas replied. "But I think we should have Doc give you a check up first and maybe if he says you're good we can try a couple of bites and see how you do."

"Want Marky's fluffy pancakes too," she whimpered, "and Northy's mixed fruit too."

"I'm sure we can have that," Silas chuckled. "Close your eyes Angelos Mou, it's going to be bright."

"Morning," the men said as Silas entered the kitchen carrying Brooke in his arms.

"How did you sleep, Carebear?" Luke asked as he walked over to them. "Want some juice?"

"Apple please, Lukey," she murmured into Silas' chest.

"You got it, Baby Girl," North murmured after he placed a kiss on the back of her head. "How are you feeling today?"

"Better," she murmured as Silas carefully sat down at the table and shifted her so she was more comfortable in his lap. "Si comfy."

"Si is very comfy," North nodded in agreement. "Here's your juice and some watermelon."

"Thank you," she whispered as she looked up at him. "Tired."

"I am," He smiled softly. "But I'm okay. That just means we will take a nap later."

"Kota," she smiled gently as movement behind North caught her attention. "Owen."

"Morning," both men smiled as they walked over to sit next to her.

"Something smells good," Brandon said as the rest of the family slowly started to join the kitchen/dining room area. "Hey Pebbles, comfy?"

"Yep," She kinda smiled. "Tired."

"And how is my favorite patient feeling this morning?" Sean asked as he knelt in front of her.

"She wants to try biscuits and gravy, Doc," Silas said as he watched Sean give her a quick check up. "She slept all night long."

"That's great, Pookie," Sean smiled as he looked down at his watch while his fingers were on her wrist. "And how is your throat feeling? Your tummy?"

"A little better," she admitted. "Want energy back."

"I know you do," he smiled gently. "We all want that. Your color is coming back so that's good. Now, I want you to be honest with me. How is your stomach and throat feeling?"

She looked into his green eyes for a few minutes while everyone waited for her response. After what seemed like forever but was really just a few minutes, she sighed. "Can we do another magic thing please, Sean? I feel so tired and my body still hurts."

Sean smiled and nodded, "Of course, thank you for being honest. Do you want to do it now or after breakfast?"

"Can we try now please?" she whispered. "I want to enjoy eating again. I'm kinda tired of pancakes."

Luke burst out laughing as Marc shook his head while chuckling. Sean smirked, "of course, Brookey. Si–"

"I got her, Doc," Silas nodded. "Alright Angelos Mou, upsie daisy."

"Wait," she said as she lifted her head and looked at the group of men. They froze and waited at seeing the seriousness on her face. "After breakfast we will have a family discussion about Joseph, Dean Rogers, Dollar Tree Barbie, and Temu Elvira and I will be involved fully in that discussion, nothing and I mean nothing will be kept from me, understood Gentlemen?" She turned back to Sean, "Alright Doc, time for my medicine, let's go."

Sean nodded, "Yes Ma'am."
