Vel's POV

Khaiy Chanty A. Sanchez

Iyon ang pangalan ng anak ni Attorney Ignacio, he was a good man and great father figured to me, kaibigan siya ng aking ama nung buhay pa ito. We're really close, because he works in the same law firm as me.

I've known her since she was still in high school.

“Hala, sorry po attorney!” she sincerely apologizes, she looks tense.

Those papers were my newly printed original copies, it's not just ordinary pieces of paper. It contains crucial documents, such as evidence, reports, and statements. Kahit na ulitin ko ito ay medyo matatagalan dahil kailangan ulit magpa-notario sa iba pang legal advisor, bukod sa akin, and for pete's sake, nasa ibang lalawigan pa ang mga iyon.

Ngumiti naman ako sa kaniya, trying to restrain myself not to say anything about it, I don't want her to feel bad. “It's alright..."

She quickly bent down and helped me.

Sandali akong natigilan. Her green eyes caught me...they were captivating. It reminds me of my first love. She also had a pair of gorgeous eyes. The kind that could pull you in and make you forget everything else around you.

“Hello, attorney?”

For a moment, it felt as if time slowed down, as if those green irises were silently telling a story of their own. I found myself staring at her, longer than I should have.

I came back to my senses when she waved her hands at me. “Hello?”

“You're gorgeous...” wala sa sarili kong nasabi.

That's the exact words I said to her.

She left me dumbfounded. That's the last time we've seen each other, I thought.

May isang party akong dinaluhan.

I was alone near the main entrance when my eyes caught her again.

She was really cool in her outfit. Leather jacket, boots, and black jeans, may dala pang helmet. I couldn't help myself but admired her.

They were close? But how?

I do know what happened before, nabasa ko iyon sa files ni Atty. Ignacio. She was somehow related to North's case. Atty. Ignacio won that case and got multiple praises afterwards, isang senator kasi ang hinawakan niya. I really don't take deep information about it, but I'm aware. Maybe they didn't know? O alam ni Ms. Lopez, but she doesn't think na dapat sisihin si Chan?
