N I N E T Y - F O U R

We were on our way to Rome, I drove one car and Cammy was in front of me driving the other. I really didn't want to be doing most of the driving for this trip but you need a special permit to drive here and no one thought to get it, but Cammy, Felix and I still have ours. We left early and most of them slept on the three and a half hour drive, I was a little jealous I couldn't.

We pulled into the hotel Cammy owned, it was beautiful and she called to make sure the royal suite was available, it thankfully was and was able to have connecting rooms. I pulled up and handed the valet the keys, I thanked him and walked inside with Gabriel, Myra and Eli who all looked groggy from their nap.

"The Bellona? Is this one of your hotels?" Gabriel asked and I shock my head.

"Cammy's, she got it before me."

Cammy came in a minute later with everyone else. I could smell a wolf nearby and turned to see a young woman walking up to us and bowed.

"Queen Camilla, Princess Grace it is an honor to have you here with us, if you would follow me I can get you your keys for your rooms." She smiled leading us to a small desk.

She gave us each a key that would open the main suite and the adjoining rooms, she was sending our luggage up and said there was refreshments waiting in the room. I thanked her as we all headed upstairs our room was on the fourth floor and there was no elevator, I feel like I'm back home already walking up so many stone steps...

We all went in to the main suite that had a large dinning area, a few big couches and a powder room in the main area with two bedrooms with king sized beds and ensuite bathrooms. There was also suites on either side with a connecting door, one was a two queen room that Cammy and Hannah were going to share and the other was a king suite. I didn't care where I slept but it worked out that Gabriel, Eli, Myra and I would stay in here and Amber and Felix in the other room.

We walked to the living area where a spread of pastries, finger foods and wine was laid out, everyone decided to sit and have a snack before heading out. We were out of the hotel twenty minutes later and had a list of things everyone wanted to check out and thankfully most were all close to each other.

We started with the Vatican City since it was the furthest away and went to the Square, the museum, the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Basilica. We stopped in a couple places in Borgo on the way back and stopped in at a Cafe for some coffee which I was happy to get to give me some energy. Myra asked if we could rent the little Vespas she kept seeing, it would certainly let us get around quicker. Cam hauled her phone out and found a place we could rent them from and we headed there.

They were one short so I shared one with Myra and let her drive she loved it. We hit almost every attraction and took so many photos from the colosseum to the Trevi Fountain, we went to the pantheon, the arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus and the Piazza Venezia and more, we crammed so much in, in six hours. We were all starving.

"We have been invited to dinner tonight everyone, we should head back to the hotel for a little bit and have a quick snack." Cammy said as we dropped of our Vespas.

"Ouu, who sent the invite?" Myra asked linking arms with Cam.

"The Ranieri, they are the royal family here in Italy, Jiuliana and her younger brother Lorenzo. We haven't seen them in a few years now, we used to spend time every summer together either here, home or traveling." She answered.

"So like are all the royal families just friends or something? Didn't you say you were with the royal family in Japan too?" Myra chuckled looking at me.

"Well not all, no, we traveled a bit more than some families were able to for many different reasons. Age is also a factor, there are only a small handful of nations that have royals our age, so we gravitated towards them." Camilla shrugged.
