N I N E T Y - F I V E

I was up early again, ugh, I'll be happy to sleep in when we get home, I'm over randomly being wide awake so early everyday. I dug my robe out of my suitcase and walked out to the living area, I saw a clock and it read 6:02, great, no one else would be up for awhile. I walked back into the bedroom and got dressed in some jeans and a thick sweater, I combed my hair and snuck back out. I texted Gabriel that I went out for a walk so he would see it when he got up.

I pulled my heeled boots on and headed downstairs to the front desk to see if they knew of any cafes open. One girl that just got in said there was a small shop a couple blocks away that she just came from, I thanked her and headed that way, the sun was still just coming up. I took my time enjoying the almost empty streets and wish I brought my camera. I found the cafe she was talking about and there was two people inside ordering and an old lady sitting outside sipping a coffee alone.

She smiled at me and said good morning as I passed her, I smiled warmly back and headed inside to order. I waited for my coffee and croissant and decided to sit outside and watch the city wake up. I walked out and looked around to see which table to sit at and the elderly lady caught my attention when she called me over.

"Caro, ti piacerebbe unirti a me?" She asked sweetly and I nodded sitting down.

Her name was Sofia and she and her husband came here every morning to have a coffee but he passed away last month. She still comes everyday and tries to share a coffee with anyone who will sit with her. We chatted for more than an hour about her life and mine, she was happy to hear I found the one.

Good morning little Mate, are you still out on your walk?  Gabriel linked me.

Good morning baby, I'm having coffee with a sweet old lady at a small café near the hotel if you would like to join us. I linked back.

I gave him simple directions and I saw him walking down the street ten minutes later. I introduced him to Sofia she said he was the biggest man she has ever seen and I laughed. She said he was a very handsome man that would father beautiful babies with me and she could sense our strong connection. She excused herself saying she didn't want to take anymore of our time, I wished her well and she gave me a tight hug before leaving.

"She seemed nice, what was she saying?" Gabriel asked as I pulled him in the café to grab more coffee.

"She said you were big." I laughed. "She also said you would make beautiful babies."

"Well we would make beautiful babies, have you looked in the mirror?" He asked wrapping his arms around me as we waited in line kissing the top of my head.

I just smiled at him and ordered us some coffee to go and ordered a few breakfast sandwiches. We walked to the Spanish steps and sat down, I handed him two of the sandwiches and I took a bite of mine. It got busier the longer we sat there, we got up and slowly made our way back to the hotel when we finished our coffee.

Today was our last day here, we were leaving this evening at 6:00 and we would be flying directly home and arrive around 6:30pm, time change is weird...I should see if there is anything the girls want to do before we leave. We made it back to the hotel and it was almost 8:30, no one was awake yet...

"How is everyone still sleeping?" I laughed sitting on one of the couches. "Maybe I should order some coffee and food up to the room so we can have a nice breakfast and go wake everyone up."

"Whatever you want to do." He sat sitting next to me pulling me into his lap kissing my neck.

"I'll call the front desk and get some food brought up, the restaurant is open now." I said pulling my phone from my pocket.
