O N E - H U N D R E D - F O U R

The last two days were long, I found out more about Violet. Ruby was her sister, she was taken two years ago when her parents were killed.

We had to stop a few times and organized races and games each time to let the girls burn off energy. We sang and played games on the busses and stopped to eat, sometimes at restaurants if we were close or other packs stepped up and packed us meals to eat on the road. As we got close to our pack and it was dinner time. Gabriel called ahead to ask wolves to help out and get supper prepared for all the girls.

We made it home around 6:30, we were going to have supper then they would go to the castle for the night. Cammy went in an SUV with Andre and was already at the pack waiting for us with Hannah and Myra when we arrived. I stepped out stretching I only had a couple small yellowing bruises left and my leg only ached when I walked.

Everyone was rounded up and led to the dining hall. Myra pulled me to our table and hugged me tightly.

"I'm so happy you are both home, you had us all worried." She squeezed me again and then Hannah hugged me tightly too.

"I'm glad you are here." She said quietly.

"I'm just fine girls, it is a good thing I ended up going." I laughed sitting down, I heard Anna's bell and looked up to see her looking at me.

"Hello everyone, please find a seat and supper will be out in just a moment." She said smiling at the little girls.

Everyone sat down and a head count was done, thankfully everyone was where they were supposed to be. I looked around and I saw Ruby sitting with some other girls her age and holding Violets hand, I smiled. The food was brought out soon after and a mix of kitchen staff and warriors were delivering plates of lasagna and garlic bread to everyone. We all happily dug in to our food, a glass of champagne was poured for all of the adults to have with dessert which was carrot cake. Gabriel stood when everyone was served.

"I'm going to say this before my little Mate here does as she usually beats me to it." He looked down and smiled at me. "I want to thank all of you who were involved in this operation over the last few days, a lot has been accomplished for these woman and girls and that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for everyone helping. I also need to thank this beautiful girl who if she didn't disobey what I asked of her and if she hadn't came to help I would not be here today." He said as he brushed his thumb over my cheek, I leaned into his hand. "So thank you again everyone." He lifted his glass and sat down, cheers erupted and warriors banged tables which the girls copied laughing.

I was full not expecting dessert so after a couple bites I started feeding Gabriel my cake when he finished his. He happily accepted it pulling me into his lap so he could hold me, I leaned into his chest when he was finished eating and I looked out at everyone eating and talking.

I watched Ruby and Violet talking with each other. They both had the same beautiful long black hair and cream colored skin, both of them had beautiful eyes like gems, Ruby and Violet...I wonder if that's where their names came from. I wasn't paying attention to the wolves around me until I felt Gabriel's lips on my hair.

"You're going with them, aren't you?" He asked quietly and I nodded.

"I'll be back tomorrow, I should bring the stuff I got mum and Cammy while we were away, I'll take a car and drive back at some point tomorrow. I just think they might need an extra set of hands to get them all settled in." I looked up at him, I didn't get the look on his face.

I excused myself while they started loading the busses with the tired girls. I went to my office and started grabbing wine, oil and other things I had picked up and started stacking them. I sighed before bending to lift them when Felix stepped in and grabbed them, I smiled and thanked him. I grabbed the last small box and followed him to the front door, I saw Gabriel helping the little girls on the bus, they were all calling him prince and curtsying.
