Axel came and left from the meeting and Myra and I helped with a bit more work before leaving them to finish it. Gabriel still didn't notice the wolf, I was sad I wouldn't get to see him notice it but he would eventually I laughed to myself. I took my laptop up to the terrace to start putting together a photo reel from our trip. I grabbed a light cardigan on my way up, but didn't need it, it was a warm sunny day.
I sat on a lounger and opened my computer to see Gabriel and the girls all sent photos, some from Myra and Gabriel were a little x-rated. I started sorting them all and piecing them together in groups of which trip they were and tried to keep them in order of when they were taken as much as I could. Almost three hours later I was finally done and realized I missed lunch...I was starving.
I got up and stretched and headed to the kitchen to see if there was leftovers. No one was around so I headed to the fridge and saw a plate with my name on it and a note.
Grace
I linked you but you didn't respond, clearly engrossed in what you were doing. Eat some lunch my beautiful mate.
Gabriel
I laughed and pulled it out it was a chicken wrap and some cut vegetables and dip. I set it on a prep table and poked my head out to the dining hall to see if anyone was out there eating. It was empty, oh well, I'll just sit here and eat, it is quiet. I pulled up a stool and walked around the table so I could face the door and sat down. I enjoyed my lunch and did not see a single wolf the entire time, I set my plate in the dishwasher and grabbed some sparkling water from the fridge.
Gracie can we go for a run? My wolf practically whined.
Yes, of course.
Well that settles what I was going to do, I headed out through the dining hall to the backyard. I slipped off my heels and headed for the tree line to strip, I carefully placed my clothes on a branch and set my water next to my shoes before calling my wolf forward. She landed down on all fours and stretched out her back and shook out her fur. She sniffed the air and took off at a slow run warming up.
We eventually sped up flying through the trees as we made our way to the border. We greeted the wolf we saw and continued going making the full loop around the pack territory, it took about twenty minutes. I wish we had more land I thought to myself, we used to have a huge property and trail system at the castle to run. I should talk with Cammy and Gabriel about expanding our borders...My wolf still wanted to run so we ended up doing two more laps around the perimeter before Gabriel reached out.
Hello little Mate, what are you up to? I see you ate your lunch.
Hi baby, I'm just heading back towards the packhouse now, we were out for a run. I answered back.
I'll meet you there.
We got back to my clothes a few minutes later and Gabriel was there leaning against the tree swinging my panties around his finger with a grin plastered on his face. We walked up to him and my wolf placed her head against his chest and he rubbed her face. She sighed in contentment, her chest rumbling, she was enjoying herself. She stepped back when he stopped and she licked the side of his face before letting me phase back. Gabriel's wolf came to the surface as they looked me up and down.
"Beautiful." He murmured.
I stepped towards him and pulled his face to mine to place a kiss on his lips. He started to deepen the kiss when I could hear rustling coming through the trees. I wolf skidded to a stop in front of us and quickly looked away when Gabriel growled pulling me behind him.
