Summer is coming to a close, and as everyone knows Paris, like the Upper East Side, empties out in August leaving behind only the tourists and the dreamers lamenting the imminent return to real life.

"Where's your Aunt Jenny? She moved to Hudson. She wears leggings--" Nate and Ophelia opened the door to Dan's loft with immediate laughter, the sight of Dan trying to soothe his baby with an awful made-up song definitely lifted the heiress' spirits. "Wow, I did not need to see or hear that." Nate admitted, walking through the doors and closer to baby Milo. "I'm doing the best I can, just you wait until you're singing to this little one." Dan joked, motioning towards the heiress' slight baby bump. "Don't push your luck Brooklyn." Ophelia teased, having slowly accepted the friendship between her boyfriend and the Humphrey would unfortunately lead to her being closer to him.

Dan simply laughed at the heiress, slowly growing fonder of the girl in front of him. "Would you like to hold him? Vanessas meant to be here and Georgina's at the spa. And Milo has not been taking his bottle all morning. Oh, buddy. I think he's kind of mad at me." The Humphrey explained as Milo began to fuss once more. "You don't expect me to sing?". Nate laughed, cautiously putting his hands out to hold Milo. "Just make sure you prop his neck up." Accepting the baby awkwardly Ophelia couldn't help but laugh softly as she saw just how uncomfortable Nate was with another man's child. "Oh, he smells funny." The Archibald commented before Ophelia placed her bag down on the nearby sofa and extended her arms out to her boyfriend.

"Maybe he just needs a woman's voice. Whatever nonsense you were singing was definitely not close to that. I'll go change him." The heiress smiled, bouncing the fussing baby in her arms before walking off into Jenny's old room that had temporarily been transformed into a nursery. "Oh, you're so cute. Yes, you are." Ophelia mused, softly bouncing Milo on her hip as the baby slowly began to calm down. Looking around the room in front of her the heiress softly cursed under her breath as she was unable to find the changing materials. "Where does your daddy keep things in this tiny place?". Ophelia whispered, continuing to bounce Milo before eventually giving up and calling out to the Humphrey. "Dan, can you grab a diaper?".

Passing Milo off to his father the moment the Humphrey walked through the bedroom door Ophelia excused herself and returned to Nate in the kitchen. "What are you doing?". The heiress questioned, seeing Nate with Dan's phone in his hands. "Spencer wanted me to check something for him." The Archibald explained, turning the phone slightly towards his girlfriend's view. "Dan said he hadn't heard from Serena." A message appeared clear on the phone from none other than Serena van der Woodsen, informing Dan she needed to speak with him, more courtesy than she'd bothered to offer Spencer. "What is Dan even up too?". Ophelia questioned quietly, her dislike towards the boy returning despite her momentary lapse in judgement.

They say it's easy to forget your troubles when the weather's warm but all it takes is one fall breeze to blow reality right back in your face. Watch out, Blair. He who sows the wind reaps the storm.
